We went to the place with high expectations due to the excellent reviews on TA. It has a few things going for it. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere is nice. And prices are not too high.

Unfortunately the food is where Cera 23 doesn't impress. My Nigiri with Iberian porc were very strange. They had a very dominant vinegar taste that overshadowed the whole dish. The beef cheeks were not soft and juicy, but very dry (probably reheated) and the sauce was very bitter. So both dishes just didn't taste well.

As I needed something sweet to cleanse my palate from the sour and bitter taste, I ordered a dessert, which in all fairness was very nice.

I'm not sure whether they just had a bad day. But based on what ended up on my plate, Cera 23 can not be recommended.

A wonderful local dining experience a little off the beaten path. Food and service was amazing. Beautiful setting for a romantic dinner.

Off the beaten track I guess but only a few streets back from La Ramblas. Food was incredible and very well priced. Place is modern and staff were incredibly friendly. Steak tartare was outstanding as was the Thai style fish. Good choice of wines to help it go down.

I got Iberian ham, it was good and tomato bread was fascinating 👍
Main Dias was steak and I can say that it was awful, particularly the quality of meat.
Perhaps, beef it is not their cup o tea.

The food was really good, a very nice menu! The chefs are wonderful as well as the staff! Very accommodating and pleasant!
