We loved the location near two breath-taking Gaudi properties. The room was pleasant but the staff was really accommodating. Special kudos to Giavanna who was very helpful arranging for special food from the restaurant for my ailing wife.

Your property, staff, location, and your rooftop bar & restaurant completely made our trip. Your staff was wonderful and considerate. Your location is unbeatable. 3/5 hotel was nice and good location although when we arrived to check into our room when we walked in there was a maintenance worker fixing something in it. Why would they have sent us to our room saying it was ready when it was not? They then put in into a worse room than we paid for (no balcony and view). I had to go back and ask for them to switch us back to our original room that we had paid extra for. Also, the bed is extremely uncomfortable, very firm, almost like a college dorm mattress.

Our stay in the Condes de Barcelona was enhanced by the excellent service and attention we received from Josep Corominas and the other staff team members such as Giovanna and Juan. They became, not just service personnel, but friends.
When my wife became very ill, and had to be admitted to the hospital, the hotel staff gave us the highest level of service we have ever experienced as she was recovering.
The hotel itself is first class with a gym, pool and rooftop terrace and bar overlooking the city.
We look forward to our return to Barcelona and will certainly stay at the Condes.

I can highly recommend Hotel Condes for a stay in Barcelona.
The welcome at the reception was warm and very service-minded. Initially, we were offered an upgrade, however, the room turned out to be situated towards the lobby of the hotel, meaning it had no outside window. We had actually been warned about this, but we misunderstood what the reception said. Even still, we were offered two other rooms immediately with a nice view of the courtyard. Very good service!
The room itself was very clean, quite spacious and stylish, however, some of furniture was quite dated and should be replaced. There is a coffee maker, aircon, plenty of high quality bathroom products that were replaced daily, a fridge with two small bottles of complimentary water each day and a safe. In the evening, there was sometimes a bit of noise from the outside balconies.
The hotel offers a rooftop restaurant and bar with a stunning view of Barcelona, including Casa Milà and Sagrada Familia. The drinks were excellent, and the food was acceptable if nothing special. Of course, the view comes with a price, but this is to be expected and isn’t out of proportion.
There is a small outdoor swimming pool on the floor below with nice views as well. Unfortunately, it closed already at 8, probably due to noise reasons.
All in all, it’s hard to imagine a better hotel for the price. We hope to return!
