I loved my stay at Hotel America and would recommend it to anyone. Pablo took the time to answer a couple of emails I had sent from Australia before arriving and I was met with the warmest welcome by all the staff who were so helpful and friendly - excellent value and great location – thanks everyone !
Absolute little gem, great location, walking distance to some attractions, bars, restaurants all nearby.
Room was well equipped, clean & staff very helpful & friendly, great help in showing us where to go, bus tours, sights to see, restaurants etc.
The roof top bar & pool is wonderful to chill during your stay & serve the best sangria !!
Breakfast is help yourself, lots of fruit, pastries, cheeses etc & a hot breakfast is available too.
One tip, we wanted to book to see the beautiful Sagrada Familia whilst visiting Barcelona, you need to book tickets in advance, before your stay, unfortunately it was already booked up for us. We still got to see this spectacular building on our walking tour.
This was our second trip to Barcelona and we wanted to stay closer to the centre. The location is great. We found loads of great places to eat and it was a short walk to the centre. The hotel is clean and modern and our room was very comfortable. The team were welcoming and friendly. They have a lovely rooftop pool, we didn’t use it but we did use the rooftop bar. Breakfast was okay, it’s pretty much the same as the last hotel we stayed in. A lot of fresh fruit and pastries. The location is a little noisier as it’s in a busier area but we new that when we booked and it affect our sleep so it was fine. We would stay here again, we had a great stay.
The hotel is amazing and the room is lovely and bright and equipped with everything you need. The only down side to the room was the bed was two singles that kept coming apart, so not good if you’re trying to sleep as a couple. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a lady at reception that was very moody each day and never smiled. The roof top bar and pool is a lovely place to relax and unwind. The breakfast service was great and they had a very large variety of different foods. Would defiantly stay here again!
The room was clean and new, with excellent maintenance. The location is superb, and more importantly, safe. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available for assistance, our questions, and to provide recommendations for places to visit!
