we were at this hotel for 5 days, the hotels rooms are big, beautiful and comfortable, the bathroom is big too. the bus station and metro stations are near the hotel and you can go everywhere simply. the receptionists were not friendly, even they didnt say hello to us when we said!! you even dont tend to ask them if you have a question. just one young boy (i don't know the name) was friendly and when he was at the desk i tended to ask some information and he helped. another thing was that they gave us a room with 2 single bed but we wanted a double bed, when i told the man, he even didnt try to find or check for other days or try to convinced us, just said no, there is no guarantee to give you double bed.
anyway i think this hotel is a good choice in barcelona, we liked our stay

Our stay at Silken St Gervasi came after a 3 night stay at a disappointing Paris hotel, so it seemed to be a huge improvement as there was actually space in the room and more than 1 elevator. I can't say the help at the front desk was great, as they didn't inform me well when I inquired about getting around on the metro/ bus, which caused me to spend unnecessarily. But breakfast was good, there was a convenience store right across the street and plenty restaurants within walking distance. Also the metro was less than a 5 minute walk away.

If I were to return to Barcelona, I wouldn't rule out staying here again.
