Although a distance from the center of Barcelona, the tram stop was a short walk away. A restaurant reviewed on this site was excellent. The apartment itself was clean, with ample space to store breakfast food. A nearby supermarket had an excellent supply of fruit and groceries. We called in at the local hospital cafe where the coffee and cakes were very good. The local park had exercise equipment.The swimming pool was open, but still too cold for us to use that week.

This hotel is practical in that it has all one requires. The suites are large, the kitchen area very good, plenty of room and cupboards. It is clean everywhere. The breakfast is varied, fresh where necessary, the choice is excellent but more expensive than average particularly if compared to the dinner menu.
The cost of rooms is reflective of the situation at the north weest of town. To get to the centre, La Rambla for example, one has to walk a short distance, take a tram and then the Metro. Taxis would be simpler but the traffic can make that method of travel expensive. Possibly alright if shared.
