Hotel colon was clean and staff helpful in holding luggage. Checkin is a little late at 3 pm. The view and location is excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The roof top is cute but beware no pool is on the rooftop as is shown on social media guest posts.

And very helpful and the breakfast is unbelievable with so many choices. I loved this hotel and would recommend it to anybody. Great location Barcelona cathedral right across square. Gothic quarters walking distance. So many restaurants and things to do.

We visited the rooftop bar. Waited for over an hour time which would be okay as it is peak visiting time. But about half the tables were empty. It then took 40 minutes to get asked for drinks. Quality of drinks were subpar for barcelona especially for the price they charge. Before asking if we wanted anything else, they delivered the check and asked us to leave. The staff was rude, elevators were old, damaged, and small. Would not visit again.

We made an exception to our policy of prioritizing resident guests, provided you with one of our best tables with views, and assigned a guest service agent to offer personalized service. Unfortunately, it seems we did not have the opportunity to address your concerns during your visit as this review was written before your stay was concluded.
We also want to clarify that we never encouraged you to leave, as this is not in line with our standards. While our elevators are small, they are part of the charm of our historical building, which has been recently refurbished to maintain both its character and our commitment to excellent service and high standards of quality.
We believe that visiting other rooftops in the city might give you a better perspective on our prices, which we consider reasonable for a 5-star hotel with unbeatable views.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location in the gothic area of Barcelona.
Buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide choice.
Bedroom had a view of the Barcelona Cathedral and square.
The bed was very comfortable but the large window into the bathroom was an issue at nighttime as it let too much light back into the bedroom.

A really lovely room and a view of the cathedral. I was offered a drink voucher for the roof terrace bar and took advantage of that that evening. Isa on the roof terrace was absolutely fantastic and is a credit to the hotel! Olga at the front desk was also really lovely at check in. Very comfortable stay. The hotel has a shuttle, so if it's there, as it was for me, you can get free transit to the airport. I shared the shuttle with only one other guest and the driver was so nice and helpful. Only stayed a night on my way home, but it was a really great stay.
