Love. Staff, location, rooms, amenities, legit everything.
My friend and I bounced around to five countries in two weeks and this was by far the best hotel.
Barcelona seems to have a lot of really nice hotels, but lots were booked when we were looking. We loved the rooftop view we saw in reviews in this one, but were concerned because some reviews show brand new rooms and other show old/outdated rooms.
We got a nice, new room and everything was huge and modern. We walked in the room and our jaw dropped. Obsessed.
The staff was actually amazing I felt like a celeb.
Called us taxis for the airport, booked us reservations, let us in every night, always opened the elevator for us, etc
They also would draw out on a map for me where I should shop, eat, walk, etc. They literally were over the top helpful... I loved them.
The restaurants they recommended were amazing and we name dropped the hotel so we could get in without a reservation.
The rooftop restaurant was super slow and windy but we just got sangria and enjoyed the food.
The pool is small but was awesome to hang in after a long day.
THE CATHEDRAL WAS PRETTY BUT HAD A HUGE AD THAT WAS SO UGLY
SO that was sad because it wasn't cute for pictures :(
As far as location, we were right near these awesome allies of tons of shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere for shopping and eating.
We even walked to the beach and clubs in Barceloneta every night. It wasn't a bad walk at all!!
Only took taxis to La Sagrada Familia, Bunkers and Park Guell because those are a trip.

This hotel was a disappointment. Although the view of the cathedral was nice, the noise from the plaza was loud. The WiFi was unstable and weak. The service was OK, but they missed making up my room one day. Overall, this hotel is overpriced.

The hotel location is awesome! The rooftop terrace was a great place to have a drink during the day and night. They are slowly renovating rooms and the newly updated rooms are nicer and feel cleaner than the older rooms; but both are still nice.
