A pitty that now one can only take a full menu- just a sushi tasting is no longer possible. The setting is nice ( especially sitting at the bar) the Japanese dishes are very good and inventive. The tempo of the dishes can be a bit fast but the overall experience is just great.

No tea, no coffee and meals which are overpriced. My wife and I (over 50) have hardly ever been so dissapointed! 1 Shrimp for € 16.- and other meals which are overpriced. Not japanese at all, but if you want nouveau cuisine and you must have been there so your freinds think you are cool and hip, go ahead :-)

This Japanese restaurant serves extremely high quality sea food and beef prepared with precision and flair. The service was attentive and they accommodated our dietary needs well. The only reason I couldn’t rate it five stars is that the offering was so extensive none of us could eat it all which was a real shame. Each course had multiple parts and because the ingredients were so rich (tuna otoro, caviar etc) by the end we were bursting at the seams.
Make sure you go there with an empty stomach!

Food is very delicious. From seafood to Wagyu to the ending dessert, all of them are quite nice. The atmosphere is nice as well. The whole kitchen is open and you can smell the barbecued meat already from your seat. We really recommend sitting at the bar so that you can see your dish being made right in front of you.

We recommend the slightly more expensive menu and if you choose the more affordable menu we recommend to add the Wagyu. It is really tasty!

The minus point is the service. We had a Spanish waitress and she was not really responsive. Our water was not refilled timely. I got hurt twice by fish bone( this was one of the minus point) and her only response was a very short “sorry”. I think for a Michelin One star restaurant, they should really improve their service quality.

Not just food, it’s a performance.
The food was great, the staff was great.

Just make sure you go hungry.

I only wish the waiters would refill the drinks when your glass is empty.
