We have been waiting to try gastronomica burgers for a while before we got to Barcelona. I was nervous maybe I built up a burger joint too much in my head. How good can a restaurant be that serves 6 different burgers? I’ll answer that : Divine.
We ordered the pulled pork burger and the hot and blu burger. They were to die for l. Worth the hype.
Let’s get to the home made sauces : I thought ketchup could only taste 1 way. Their homemade ketchup is on a different planet I can’t even describe it. It’s like Smokey and sweet and it’s just amazing, nothing else like it. The habanero mayo was amazing as well. Everything here is so well thought out and deliberate. Nothing they do here is by accident. These aren’t people clocking into work everyday, these are people that truly love what they do, that get excited when they can explain the process. The entire staff was so welcoming and amazing. We have 3 days left in Barcelona and we’ll definitely be here again, as well as their other restaurant La gastronomica (see other review).
Just for fun I wqs trying to think of one thing they could improve, and hand to god, absolutely nothing came to mind. Don’t change a thing, this place is an absolute gem.
