What a great hotel in a good area. I stayed in room 427, the hotel is quiet however you can hear noise from the bathroom next door but no biggie really.
The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar, sauna, steam room and outside pool with loungers is a lovely place to spent some time and the views from there are incredible.
I didnt have breakfast here as at 20€ it is very overpriced and there are so many good cafes and restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the hotel including a Westfield shopping mall.
I had dinner in the hotel one night, snd whilst pricey it was certainly the best quality meal I have eaten in Barcelona on this trip.
Drinks are cheap, 4.50 for a beer or glass of wine.
Rooms are immaculate and very well set out. The glass bathroom door is unusual however as a solo traveller I had no concerns! They are opaque so you cannot be seen.
The area of Glories is nice, it'd close enough to all the major tourist parts of Barcelona without experiencing the oppressive heat and dense streets of main Barcelona.
I hired a push bike as I find this the easiest way to navigate around the city. There is good cycle parking areas directly outside the hotel and excellent cycle lanes throughout the area and city on a whole.
