H10 Casa Mimosa was a fabulous experience for a three night Barcelona stay. The location is in walking distance to many fabulous restaurants and sites. The outside patio / bar area is quite cozy and the rooms have a modern flare. In addition to the rooms being aesthetically pleasing they are also comfortable. Like the rooms and property, the staff is great too! Highly recommend this property and will absolutely return here next time in Barcelona.

we loved the place. We used to go to the Alma. Casa Mimosa has rooms with a cute little terrace facing the Pedrera. There is a pool in the garden (not heated) and one on the roof top (not heated) and I'm sure that next summer I will love to take a rest near them. Breakfast is downstairs inside ou outside in the gardens. Great choices of food. Staff is very friendly (we asked for a kettle and got it in 2 minutes). The only minor thing is that the room is a bit small.

We chose this hotel based upon reviews and the ability to cancel 24 prior to arrival just in case of an emergency. We booked in February for an October stay for 7 nights. Three weeks prior to our arrival they demanded a 25% non refundable payment to keep our reservation. Their policy is anything in excess of 7 nights requires a payment. We were only 7 nights not in excess of 7. They know that it is very difficult to get a room on short notice so they use this tactic to get you to commit to paying the non refundable deposit.
The room was nice and comfortable and clean. Nespresso coffee machine in room and 2 water bottles given daily. No complaints on room.
The front desk staff is professional but they seemed to lack personality. They were very robotic in their actions. Maybe that’s what the mgmt wants.
We arrived early and were told our room was vacant but wouldn’t be ready until the 3 pm check in time. The robotic of the front desk at work not allowing you to get your room until what it says on their website, 3 pm checking. Very inflexible!
Stay far away from having dinner their. Service and food were terrible! Dishes came out at different times and one came out uncooked and had to be sent back.
Only good thing was a nice room and the location. Buyer beware of their bait and switch with the cancellation policy!

It is unfortunate to read that, even though you liked your room and the hotel location, some aspects did not meet with your expectations, we appreciate your honesty regarding your experience as it will help us improve those matters.
We especially would like to address the lack of personality from our staff, apart from being professional, we also want our guests to feel they have a personalized experience and feel they're being looked after in the most humane way possible, so it is a shame to read that this wasn't your experience during your time here.
Regarding your check in time, could be a misunderstanding as we were full the day before your arrival, that means unfortunately no early check in was possible. Some guests check out earlier than others and we finally checked you in at 13:30h instead 15h. There is no reason for us to make you wait if we have a free room.
About the hotel cancellation policies, we will find a way that makes sense and it is more clear on the website before booking a long stay so that there are no misunderstandings in the future regarding the conditions of the reservation.

We were here for work and hired conference room and business services as well as staying and eating. In all respects the service and amenities were excellent. David and the team in events are extremely efficient and keen to please. Food was very good and meeting rooms perfectly equipped for our needs. The hotel is in an excellent location, central yet rooms are quiet and the garden is perfect for a relaxed drink or meal but also for a private business conversation. Highly recommend.

We have been visiting Barcelona for many years for both holidays and long weekends.
In recent years we have made reservations with H10 Hotels as we found the locations perfect and the service and facilities very good yet they are all a bit different. We have just tried another H10 which we found to be first class - Casa Mimosa.
It’s always a bit of a risk when you try somewhere new, however there were some features about this hotel that, from the website and reviews, looked to deliver some of our preferences - and Casa Mimosa did not disappoint.
First of all the location in Pau Claris was perfect as it was close to the ‘biz’ of Passieg de Gracia without the crowds and the prices!
Secondly we like access to a private terrace or balcony and this hotel has a number to chose from.
In fact our terrace was large and caught the sun from around 11.00 am until just after 5.00 pm, so plenty of time to enjoy the sun with your own room adjacent.
Turning to other facilities, the hotel provides a decent breakfast range served in a friendly and efficient manner and after the first few days the staff had remembered our favourite items and had them on hand when we dropped in - nice touch!
The hotel also has 2 small pools - one on their rooftop terrace and a second in their lovely ground level garden which is a nice feature and provides a cool place for sundowning in the evening as well as providing attractive snacks and nibbles.
The room we chose was a good size and had all the facilities you would expect together with first class servicing.
If we were to be ‘picky’ the room fridge was not working on our arrival and the door was a bit stiff however these matters were remedied shortly after we pointed them out.
Casa Mimosa turned out to be an excellent choice of venue for our 8 day September break and we have promised ourselves to return!
