Really nice stay with the guys at Hotel Room Mate Anna Barcelona. A special mention to reception staff and the breakfast team. Lovely roof top bar and the rooms and service are 1st class. A great little "speak easy" restaurant wirh live music in the basement (but keep it quiet!) Would definitely visit again x

We were delighted with this hotel during our mini break. We were welcomed at reception mid morning but it was not a problem seemingly to staff. Our luggage was stored and we were offered somewhere to change if needed.
Our room was clean and comfortable along with being very quiet too.
Breakfasts were superb so much choice and replaced throughout the time we were in the restaurant- special mention has to go to Marta who was welcoming and always busy ensuring tables were cleared and food replenished
We would throughly recommend this hotel for its comfort along with how central it is to sightseeing places and restaurants to eat in.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet but with odd red and black decor. The bed was so comfortable I should have asked what kind of mattress it was. Location is excellent right in the middle of the places we wanted to visit and easy to reach by bus or metro.

Positives: Nice Decor, Clean, Good Location Quiet, Good Breakfast
Negatives: Except for 2 other rooms of the hundreds of rooms I have stayed in over the years, only 2 were equal or smaller.
The fee I paid was ridiculously high. while I was waiting to check in a potential guest was offered a room at less than half the cost. when I approached the clerk about his , she said I was stuck with the higher price . I expected this, but most good hotels would have at least upgraded me , particularly when the hotel was half empty as this one was.

I feel sad about not fulfilling your expectation or needs in terms of the room size. The rate is always adapted to our hotel category, location and demand in the city (events, concerts, congresses etc). When the rate is non-refundable, we are not able to modify it but of course, when we can, we offer upgrades at a discounted supplement. In your case I do not know the exact dates you stayed with us but in our hotel we have high occupancies so I do not agree that the hotel was half empty.

This was a wonderful surprise as we had never heard of this hotel chain before. The location was great- Starbucks next door, Casa Batilo across the street, and many good restaurant options nearby. It was easy walking to so many different parts of the city.
The staff couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. We had breakfast every day at the hotel and were very pleased with the food. It was managed by a very hard working woman who kept everything clean, refilled and remembered us each day. Lots of variety for everyone.
The rooftop also had a pool area and nice bar/restaurant which was appreciated after a long day of touring. Rooms were all modern and very clean.
We opted to do a private tour from ‘ orange donut tours.com’ as we did not have much time in the city. We did an 8 hour tour and were picked up at the hotel by our driver Christina and guide Guillum. It was an amazing day covering much of the city including Gaudi and his buildings. We did not have to wait on all the very long tourist lines and Christina was always nearby with the car.
I look forward to returning to Barcelona someday and would stay at the same hotel.
