Nice looking modern hotel centrally located. Friendly and helpful staff.Rooms are small, nowhere to sit if you want to eat food in. Beds and pillows are comfortable and we didn’t hear any noise. The design of the room is unusual in that the bathroom sink is in the actual room and the frosted glass door to the toilet which doesn’t close enough to offer privacy also is basically in the room. So obviously there are a few minuses to go with the positives of this hotel.

Well I have to start by saying that I'm always a bit sceptical about reviews whether they are genuine or not, however I'm so pleased that I took a leap of faith with this one. This hotel didn't disappoint from start to finish. The staff were absolutely amazing especially Adam, Adrian and Aida who dealt with us the most. They went above and beyond to assist us. Unfortunately I hurt my foot on our first day (my own fault) and when we returned from our day out Adam could see I was limping so straight away offered to get me some ice which really helped throughout our stay. It was my partners birthday as well and we unexpectedly had a lovely bottle of cava and some cake sent to our room with compliments from the team. Such a lovely thoughtful touch! We had a superior room and the bed was so big and comfortable. I'm not a great sleeper at all but throughout our stay I slept really well even with an injured foot. There is a mini bar in the room with a price list so you can keep a note if you have anything.
You need to pay city taxes on check out which was less than 40 euros for 4 nights.
We paid extra for breakfast which included eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, selection of meats, cheeses and breads, cakes, honey, pancakes and juices and more. All delicious.
The hotel is ideally situated. The hop on/off bus tour was approx a 10/15 minute walk. The Sagrada familia was around 35/40 mins walk and the beach about the same. You can book tickets at reception which was very convenient for us.
We would recommend two local restaurants about a 3 min walk in opposite directions. Luigi (Italian) and Andurina (tapas)

I picked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation. My husband likes service and to feel like he isn't a scruffy traveler. He was very happy. Many of the other reivews cover the important features, so I will just add that the location can't be beat. You can walk to many attractions, or catch a metro or bus at Placa de Catalunya, only a 6-10 minute walk away. Despite being so close to all the action, the hotel is tucked away on a small street and our room was quiet and dark. (Right next door is a great wine bar with tapas & dessert, called Onofre. Defintiley try it: it was my favorite meal in BCN . Small & the owner is very laid back. ) Loved the shower, Ac & King sized bed! The last thing to add is that the staff is worth all the cudos that other reviewers have bestowed. In particular, we saw Adam every day while we were there and the guy loves to help and give any recommendations you may need. Really, the guy has a ton of energy and is one of a kind. The housekeeper on our floor was very sweet & helpful. All the staff seem to like their job & are ready to help and make your stay easy. I hope the hotel is paying them well because they really make a difference.
They even sent me an email saying they could return some items to me that i had left behind in the room...alas no room in my suitcase.
My only regret is that we were too busy to make it to the hotub---next time for sure!
