From the convenient location to the friendly staff and quality of the room, we could not have asked for more on our visit to Barcelona. We were walking distance or a short ride from most areas/attractions we wanted to see. There were several dining options nearby and the hotel restaurant was also fantastic. It was clear the staff values guest experiences and goes above and beyond to provide a high level of customer service. Highly recommend

Getting there requires short walk because it is in a part of the Gothic Quarter that doesn't allow cabs...or so we were told by our taxi driver. Only to see a taxi drive up out front when we were checking in! It is only a block or so from the Cathedral and many interesting shops. Two metro stops Urquinona (pardon the spelling) and Jaume 1 are close by.
The staff were welcoming and gracious, very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. The room was the most quiet of any big city hotel we have been in, and being jet lagged, was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever experienced. But the real service plus was helping us when our pre arranged taxi came at the wrong time and left us stranded when we needed to get to the airport. The staff spoke to the taxi service and then helped to arrange another taxi within ten minutes, super efficient! We were so impressed with our first stay at the Catalonia chain, we are considering going to the one in Riviera Maya (which is closer to our home base of Texas). Muchas gracias!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. I would like to thank Adam and Alexis for outstanding costumer service, since the moment we arrive both of them took great care of us. They went above and beyond for me and my friends especially when I made a request to surprise my Fiancé with a surprise in our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people that I know to come here. I would also like to add the WOW effect in the hotel from their logo in towels to napkins. Great location and cleanliness was amazing. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy this hotel once again.

Amazing helpfull staff. Make my child and I feel extremely welcome. Amazing beds. Great shower. Lovely rooftop. Sweet little indoor warm pool. Great fitness room. Great room service. Love that they have google chrome. You have everything close, like shops, restaurants and metrilo. The wifi could be better.

A fantastic hotel that I would give 6 stars to if possible.
nothing too much trouble in terms of friendliness and customer awareness. A very comfortable bed, a quiet room, despite looking over the road, the sound proofing evidently very effective.
From the moment we arrived the staff took care of our needs, they were truly amazing.
I would 100% recommend visiting to family & friends and I am looking to return later in the year with my daughter.
