This hotel was great. The staff was amazing. Adam went above and beyond to handle any of our needs. Hotel included a roof top pool and a spa with free access to the sauna and hot tub. Overall 10 out of 10.

This hotel is one of the best gems I've found while traveling. The location is excellent and easily walkable to so much of the historic areas of Barcelona. Beyond that, being right in the Gothic quarter, there is shopping, restaurants, and cathedrals all within very short walks. The rooms were small but very clean and the beds extremely comfortable with this beautiful interior space that allows natural light in. Additionally, the pool and rooftop terrace is not to be missed. While the pool is small, that's to be expected for a rooftop swimming space in this part of the city.
All of these comments pale in comparison to the staff present at the hotel. They were absolutely incredible. I don't have enough superlatives to level at them. This theme is present in most of these reviews, but they really did go above and beyond. My wife and I went and it was our first trip into Barcelona. Not only did so many members of the staff make great recommendations, but they did so with a genuine smile and a lovely interaction. One staff member actually took the time to walk us to a nearby shop so that we could find it without getting lost. We cannot wait to return to the city, and hopefully this wonderful hotel.

This hotel is excellent. The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly and attentive, it was spotlessly clean, the breakfast is tasty, the rooftop terrace was the perfect chill out spot, the rooms comfortable and cool - so why 4/5 and not 5/5?
The rooms specify that they’re “soundproof” and, in my experience - they were not. In the hotel’s defence: I am a light sleeper. However, if it’s says soundproof it needs to be. I could hear doors closing, people milling in the corridors and at one point I could hear the electric blind in the room next door.
Also: and this may be just me being a stuffy Brit, but the frosted glass toilet door with spaces at the top and bottom (like you’d get in a public restroom) was kind of weird. I’ve been married for a long time, so I wasn’t too bothered, but there was no hiding the sound of your ablutions. We just made a joke of it and played music through our phones - aptly dubbed “Poop FM” - but if you’re sensitive to such things it’s something to be aware of.
All that being said: I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. It was worth every penny. Just be aware of the city tax bill you get at the end of your stay - it’s not a lot and it’s the same in most European countries, but it could come as a slight surprise to the uninitiated.

We are delighted to know that both the location, the facilities, the terrace and the comfort of our rooms have helped you to have a nice experience in Barcelona. Our hotel stands out mainly for its tranquility and comfort, and we usually have good comments about the soundproofing, but it can also happen that at certain times of the day with greater activity, more noise is heard than usual. Regarding the bathroom door, we liked how you described the situation with your wife. While a 4/5 is not the best rate for us, we will keep improving. We hope to see you again!

A perfectly situated location, close to everything you need. This hotel is the perfect place to stay, the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to help. The hotel is spotless throughout. The pool area is beautiful, Marco was our server and couldn’t be more helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

Marco our server was very kind and helpful I requested something out the menu he was able to make my drink the front desk people were excellent specially the over night agent we arrived at the hotel super late and our check in was very smoothly (don’t recall his name ) thank you for the wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was great, tucked away on a quiet street in the old section of town. And speaking of old, the hotel is built over a portion of an ancient Roman aqueduct which is preserved and can be seen under the plexiglass in the lobby. There is also a lovely rooftop bar and pool area for relaxation. The staff - Adam, Bruno, Justin, Nadia, and Roger were as good as any that we have ever had. We highly recommend this hotel!
