Excellent location to visit Barcelona on foot. Facilities of very good quality and the best thing is the warmth in the attention provided by the hotel staff. On the roof there is a nice swimming pool where you can enjoy yourself on hot days.

As you said, our location, right in the center of the Gothic Quarter, close to restaurants, shops and the most important monuments of the city, allows our guests to discover Barcelona in a simpler and more comfortable way. I have to say the hotel itself is great, with a lovely reception, and a great rooftop pool/bar. It is located perfectly within short walking distance to great areas like El Born / Gothic Quarter and 20mins walk to Barceloneta.
However, we had a really poor experience upon check in where they lost our booking despite us check-in earlier that day upon arrival, which left a bad first impression. The rooftop bar was also massively understaffed with often only one member of staff having to cater for everyone up there both on the terraza and pool-side. That being said Adam was an absolute star throughout the whole trip, working tirelessly to ensure we were happy, providing great recommendations on where to eat and on one occasion actually taking us to a restaurant next door to ensure we got a table! Adam is a credit to the hotel.
The other disappointment was with the room. It was a very clean and nice room but very small, especially given we stayed a week, perhaps it would be OK for just a couple of nights. We were also disappointed to find that our room was actually an interior room where the only window was over an internal atrium where you looked directly into opposite rooms. This was never called out on the booking, which felt a little disingenuous, especially given the pictures on their site of the room we booked had a room facing outside.

We sincerely believe that the size of our rooms is ideal for enjoying a long stay in the city, but we let you know that we also have our superior rooms, which are more spacious and can help you have an even more comfortable stay. The fact that we are located in a privileged place such as the Gothic Quarter, does not allow us to have great views of the city from the room, but we believe that it is compensated by the views obtained from our terrace. A terrace that has the staff to get all the work done, but there can always be specific moments that slow down the pace of work. We hope that the rest of the services we offer in the hotel have been to your liking and we hope that you will give us another chance in the future, I'm sure it will be much better this one!
Clean, modern hotel well situated for exploring Barcelona, on foot or with the Metro. Located on a quiet back street and close to a variety of restaurants. Like most cities if you move out of the tourist areas and probably your comfort zone you’ll find that prices drop considerably.

Hotel was great with awesome amenities but I come here to write about Adam (part of the staff) and all he did for me and my fiancé. He made us feel at home and even printed out transportation schedules that we couldn't locate.

The hotel is amazing, it’s tucked away within the busy streets of Barcelona, but still very quiet!! It’s close to many ionic places and great food! The breakfast was Amazing and the Staff was so incredibly nice! Adam helped us to our room and explained everything to us in such detail that even my family said “wow I’ve never stayed somewhere in US (and we’ve stayed at plenty of 5 star hotels), where someone took time to explain things about the hotel to us, it was so helpful!” He even gave us the best Padella recommendation (trust me, no other place matched Resturant Barceloneta).
The staff truly cares about your experience in hotel and within Barcelona! The rooftop bar was so relaxing that even my 65 year old parents enjoyed it… (and they are picky)!
