Mt best friend and I take a trip every year. We have both said multiple times it will be hard to visit other places after our experience here. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be *magical*. This place is a dream and is staffed with 100% of some of the best souls that walk this planet. Everyone we came in contact with had a smile on their face, from the grounds and housekeeping to the restaurant and excursion staff. We were always greeted, no matter how far away they were standing or what they were in the middle of. Each staff member went above and beyond to make our stay flawless.

Victor, our Island host, was a true gem. He ensured every aspect of our stay was perfect and made us feel incredibly welcome. With Victor we felt all things were possible here! Breakfast, lunch and dinner at both restaurants were fabulous- food as well as location. The octopus was out of this word! The ambience for dinners at the Calico will be unforgetable. From the lighting to the saxophone player- the couples enjoying romantic evenings and the families dancing and laughing with their children.
Additionally, I had one of the best massages I've ever had by Delmis. Her skill and professionalism left me feeling completely rejuvenated. My only regret was that I chose the 60 min and not 90!

The tranquility of this place is unmatched. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect setting to unwind and relax. The serene environment and well kept grounds allowed us to fully disconnect and enjoy the beauty of our surroundings without any disturbances. I would like to add the wifi that was provided was exceptional and no matter where we were, land or water, there were zero issues.

Our first night, we got to dinner late which meant we were the last people left. Alejandro stayed with us while we listened to the music, drank our wine and soaked it all in. He is the true definition of customer service and if the only person we came in contact with, would be the reason to come back here. Miguel was one of favorite on the wait staff- he is truly a professional. Tyana's smile and Evelyn's enthusiasm kept us from missing any meals at the Calico. Bianca, at the bar, was amazing and I can bet she will be doing big things in her future career. Her welcoming smile was one of the first we saw upon arrival and without a doubt looked forward to throughout our stay. She greeted us with a refreshing mojito which ended up being one of the drinks I couldn't get enough of.
Hangover bar excursion is a must and the staff associated made this day one our favorites. Cam at the Hobbiecat excursion was by far the coolest and most laid back we met here! I would hop on any boat he was driving!
Overall, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The beautiful, quiet surroundings combined with the exceptional service made this vacation unforgettable. We can't wait to return!

Ambergris Cay is a hidden gem that feels like heaven on earth. The whole experience from start to finish exudes luxury from the resorts private plane to your own secluded villa/bungalow steps away from the turquoise waters. The staff is extremely attentive to your every need.

Our host, Gary, was wonderful! He accommodated our every need and made sure to fit everything we wanted to do into our schedule to receive the ultimate experience. We enjoyed seeing the island on the golf carts and E Bikes and enjoyed every meal and cocktail we tried, especially with our server Jose. The highlight was the floating bar with our wonderful bartender, Pedro!

AND THE SPA! What a unique experience! The masseuse was fantastic and worked out every knot I had. The room was inside an over water bungalow with floor to ceiling views of the crystal clear water. Just wonderful!

The views, the drinks, and the service was my favorite part of the whole trip! This resort exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely love to come back to experience it all over again!

We are grateful to have enjoyed a luxurious stay at Ambergris Cay. The resort is found on a private Island with stunning views of the ocean and many activities. Landing on the runway at Ambergris Cay is truly remarkable and the Island pilot, an expert. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, expertly decorated, and have an outdoor living area overlooking the clearest turquoise blue water and your own private pool. The resort staff (friends) are cheerful, attentive, always ready to help with any requests or questions- and a welcome conversation, we got to know so many of them during our stay. Whether we were greeted for our meal by Shanel, or with our favorite cocktails at the bar by Diane, Giancarlos, Jocelyn or Thaw, or were served our favorite meals by Alejandro, Angela, Evelyn, Francina, Frantz, Jose, Miguel, Nicole, or Pedro, every detail was exquisite. The food is delicious and diverse, with options for different cuisines and dietary preferences, every meal was amazing. One of our favorite dining experiences was the Friday Club House Caribbean-inspired dinner, we had the opportunity to try things we wouldn’t usually order.

The resort offers a variety of activities, don’t miss the Hangover bar and Pedro’s wonderful welcome cocktail! John went above and beyond to ensure we caught a bonefish, he was also the captain of our sunset cruise, which was arranged for us on the most perfect evening with a bottle of wine. The resort has a spa (thank you to Adrianne and Delmis for the most amazing massages), a fitness center (Ashanti offers an amazing yoga practice, can’t beat the view!), and even tennis lessons (Jerome will give you a workout, suitable for new players too).

Claude visited each morning and afternoon to ensure our outdoor space was properly cared for. Sean thoughtfully detailed the history of the island, the story of its name. Make sure to explore, visit the ruins and the caves, sunbathe at Columbus Beach, and most of all, find the Flamingos!

Gary was the most attentive and thorough Island Host - and a very good secret keeper as my now fiancée, coordinated a surprise engagement as part of our trip with Gary’s help. Gary arranged a private dinner with serenade by saxophone, and even rebooked our sunset cruise as a celebration for the following evening, our last night. Giancarlos, serenades guests with his incredible talent, saxophone, and vocals, during dinner service, we were happy to dance each time, and grateful for our private experience. Just as we thought of something we may need, there was Gary (like a Genie), at the door with it!
