This hotel is incredible. From the moment we stepped in after a long flight from London, Mary looked after us with a speedy check in and some restaurant recommendations. The free wine from 5pm-6pm was an unexpected joy and there is free coffee and tea in the mornings. I would strongly recommend this hotel and a special mention goes out to Mary who looked after us throughout our stay.

4.5. I am a fan of Kimpton hotels and this one is also lovely. The rooms are adequately sized, clean and well appointed. Staff is helpful. The location is great for museums and shopping. I would recommend this hotel for those coming to Toronto.

This hotel is in a great location, particularly for the University of Toronto. It is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly. The room was spacious and well appointed, with little touches like a working fridge and a yoga mat in the closet. Everything is clean and housekeeping was efficient. The hotel has a good gym and they offer coffee in the lobby for several hours during the morning. They also seemed quite mindful of not wasting plastic - something I pay attention to. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast in the restaurant. The food is not great and it took a very long time to be served. I ended up going elsewhere for breakfast for the rest of my stay. I would still stay here again if I cam back to Toronto.

The hotel is very nice! I liked the decor and feel of it.
The size of the rooms is good, the feel of the pillows and bedsheets was great.
The gym was fantastic, not huge but there everything you need.
Location is good also.
The only down side is the restaurant for breakfast, quality isn’t great. The choices are limited and the quality of the food itself is not the best.
The rates are high but it’s Toronto I guess.

Truly the best place to stay in Toronto. I’ve stayed at the fairmont several times but it pales in comparison to the Kimpton. The staff is incredible and so friendly. The hotel is so comfortable and so well equipped. Room was a corner room and so thoughtfully put together. We really felt at home there. Wine hour from 5-6 and we were offered a glass at 6:30 bc we missed it. Coffee and tea in the mornings in the lobby. 2 blocks from Tim Hortons. Truly an incredible stay. We will definitely be back!!
