The entertainment team is a hands down 5 points, although my 10 year old son only played volleyball the whole time we were there. He wasn't interested in crafts or films. He is deaf so trying to understand new sports in a foreign environment/language is challenging in itself.
The room was very dated, smelt damp, too. We paid extra for the lounge area/soft bed so that my 13 year old daughter & 10 year old son had separate beds. Unfortunately, upon arrival, bedding wasn't provided for the sofa bed & only 3 towels provided instead of 4. Not what you want after an 11+ hour flight from the UK.
The minibar bar wasn't stocked up half way through the week as per advertised and as per the contract with Tui and when bringing this to Tui's attention there was somewhat resistance and the mini bar was never replenished. Oh, sorry, they filled it with 4 bottles of water.
Do bear in mind Tui do not have a resident representative and rely on the 'chat/messanger' on the app to resolve issues that arise. So issues are lengthy to resolve. If ever resolved.
The food is relatively good. Each night is supposed to be themed, but I would say that wasn't the case.
My son enjoyed collecting the loose tiles from the bottom of the pool & was made up when he had acquired enough tiles to give to every member of our family as a return present.
Towards the end of our stay, the queue for breakfast and the bar was huge. Nor was there any sun loungers. Not sure why, when there were plenty of sunbeds supporting towels, bags & kids water toys. Just didn't sport the presence of human beings. Despite numerous suggestions, towels & peoples belongings would be removed after 30 mins if beds where left unattended. Shame this wasn't managed within the overall company expectations.
Overall the food was OK, the rooms are very dated, the pool needs serious attention and upgrading. The entertainment staff are a real credit, and go above & beyond to make people feel valued. The desk staff/Tui don't honour what they've contractually agreed, then blame the hotel for the lack of service despite the contract being between Tui & the holiday maker
Personally, we had a good holiday but do be very cautious ⚠️. I haven't been on holiday with Tui for over 7 years because of a similar experience previously. Smaller competitors are better at the detail, giving an overall better holiday experience & better support when things do go wrong.
