This is a beautiful place. The grounds and pools are well kept and the beach is long and pristine. There is one good restaurant on the property that had good service. It is convenient and did not require reservations when we were there.
The rooms are very large and comfortable. The full kitchen would be better with a few necessities like paper towels, tin foil, salt and pepper in order to use it better.
Ask for a ground floor room in order to have easy access to the pools.
The disco next door IS VERY LOUD in the wee hours of the night, but it was only Saturday night when we were there. Ask for a room on the north end to be away from it.
The front desk people are not very responsive and the phones in the room do not work, so you have to walk to the desk to get service.
All in all, we would stay here again because the rooms are so big and the beach is excellent!!

The front desk was not helpful, incompetent and treated me poorly. My room was close to a nightclub that played music until 4am so loud that I could feel the bass. I almost got hit by a falling coconut and the balcony was unsafe. I travel frequently and this was the worst ever.

Very nice stay at Los Tules, this old resort is very well kept altough in need of some updating. It was fantastic having a full kitchen to cut costs on eating out. Grocery store in the mall across the street. Taking the bus from this location was simple and cost effective. Stayed in #9 sector so the music from the night club next door was not an issue. 8 Pools to choose from, Margherita specials daily from the pool side restaurant. Great staff, although leave a tip for the housekeepers or they'll help themselves and also slack off if you dont. All in All a fabulous place to stay.
