I’m giving this resort 2 stars solely because of the spacious rooms, beautiful pool, and lovely beach, which my boys thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, our overall experience was marred by subpar food and shockingly poor customer service. The food quality deserves only 1 star, and the customer service was abysmal. Every interaction with guest services felt like I was a burden to them, no matter how small my request.
One particularly disappointing incident involved housekeeping, which left our bathroom uncleaned, stripped the beds, and failed to provide blankets until I had to call and request them. Additionally, my son was yelled at by a lifeguard, leaving him scared and upset. Being an international resort, I expected better language support, but very few staff members spoke English, so my son couldn’t understand what was being shouted at him. This level of service is unacceptable and greatly diminished our stay. I will never book at this property again.
This resort was a major disappointment. The staff were rude throughout (from check in to shuttle drivers to waiting staff). Only one friendly barman at the kids pool. Many amenities at the pools and in the rooms need maintenance. Some of the attractions at the kids pool were out of service when we got there and remained out of service 5 days later. Never saw anybody attending to it during the 5 days either. Communication on how things work is terrible and the English and Spanish versions do not match. The kids club is a no go for kids not fluent in Spanish, as there is nobody that can even attempt engaging with the kids in English. Also not somewhere that you can leave the kids for an hour or two. We were planning on going golfing but with the poor standard of the kids club we had to cancel those plans unfortunately.
The swimming pools are excellent and the beach front very nice (although the spa portions of the pools were not all functional). The restaurant variety is good, but the food mediocre. The service is quite poor. All inclusive is a bit a joke as you are allowed drinks with lunch, but nobody comes to take your order so you end up eating and leaving without even ordering a beer or a glass of wine or cocktail.
The shuttle service provided does not work as indicated on the boards and communication platforms and the drivers are extremely rude and not really able to speak English. Many shuttles on certain routes, hardly any on others. We spent a lot of time waiting for shuttles and being frustrated by the poorly run system.
The minibar is supposed to be restocked daily, but we had to phone to request this each day. The app is also not great. Many functions not working properly (such as the scheduling tool and restaurant booking functionality). Maybe the Spanish version is better, but the English one needs a lot more work to be fully functional and useful.
All in all it must have been an excellent development when new and the place has a lot of potential, but the reality does not match the potential and what we expected based on the website and the real life experience was extremely disappointing.

This review is for Turquesa only ..BAD ☹️ Will never go back! Employees are rude… They will ignore you and act like they do not understand english. Check in was like walking into 2 star motel in terms of the greeting. The lady that checked us in provided no information and said only a few words to us during check in process. We had to learn everything on our own. The buffet awful flys everywhere and tables dirty. When I say they dont care they dont care. Rooms were ok no complaints other the fridge broken so no cold drinks. Not enough access to water bottles. Food Quality no.. Spend a few extra $$ and upgrade trust me!
