We stayed here twice, for 2 nights before and 2 nights after a yacht charter in late May and early June. On our first visit we had one of the Seaview Suites. These are enormous, on 2 levels and would be ideal for a family. The downstairs bedroom was rather sparsely furnished, but the upstairs lounge area was fine with balconies on both levels. There is also a kitchen, the equipment here seems a little variable. These rooms are at the top of the property and have great views over Falmouth Harbour.
For our second visit we had a Seaview Studio (no. 49). This was also located at the top of the property with great views. Our room was decorated nicely and we preferred this to the suite. It became apparent that not all the rooms are the same, however, so may be worth discussing with the resort when booking.
The staff we had dealings with were lovely, very friendly and helpful, especially Meechi. The grounds are well kept. The hotel is across a narrow road from the marina area. I can well imagine that the rooms overlooking the road would be noisy, especially in high season. After Antigua Yacht week which finishes in early May, most things seem to quieten down or close. Our first visit was on a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Most of the local restaurants were closed, although you could get a good meal in Bar-B, part of the Marina complex, and we had breakfast at Seabreeze. Our second visit was on a Sunday and Monday and the whole area was much busier, giving an idea of what it would be like in season with a wide range of different restaurants.
