This place is nasty. Feces in the toilet when I arrived. Place is run down and obviously needs a good clean . Owners should sell to someone who wants to actually run this place properly. Such a beautiful spot!

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were courteous and very pleasant. But the water was unavailable twice in one day including late afternoon Saturday for a couple of hours when we wanted to have showers after a day on the beach.
Also the website says friendly dogs are welcome which was why we chose this hotel so we could bring our very well behaved dog. When we checked in, we were told pets were not allowed. After consultation with head office , the staff made an exception for our dog. This needs to be clarified.

We had the honeymoon suite and was NOT as the pics described...no carpet..no heat..DVD player didn't work and mold going up the walls..Ended up having the buy a DVD player so we could actually watch something and same with a heater...had to leave on day 2 with no refund due to power outage..i get it it happens but this place is a DUMP..Don't waste your money when there are so many more beautiful places to stay around this area.. Also the room had no coffee..soap..shampoo ..literally nothing..and half the power outlets didn't work...DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I booked two rooms in this hotel by accident using Expedia (two windows open that looked almost identical, meant to book a different one). I realized the mistake immediately and called to explain and cancel right away. They refused to cancel it. I understand small businesses can face hardship with cancellations, but this was literally a period of minutes and it could not seriously have had any real negative impact on their business to reverse this mistake (and I would have been fine with paying a small admin charge for their time to do so). Now I've lost this money, as I won't be going to this hotel. My partner and I visit this area for outdoor activities but I will never stay at this hotel; if their customer service and sense of decency in these circumstances is this terrible, that speaks volumes about the likely quality of everything else about this place.

Family run lakeside motel (no inn and no luxury) on a lake. Close to Park. A little run down Limited front desk. Not much suite. Has microwave - no utensils or cups. Gazebo with bbqs and chairs to enjoy. No restaurant meals - eat elsewhere. 3 dinner items- burger, fish chips and another. Burger/fries $20 and $2.25 more for cheese and drinks from vending machine (no bar). Overall a good stopping place but no value added.

Looked great from outside. Mice feces and poison left in sight..garbage under the bed..wi fi didn't work. Watched mice run around.. stained linens..the only nice amenity was the view of the river close by. Save yourself the money and stay somewhere else
