We love this hotel.
We've just returned from a week at the end of April and are already planning our return later this year.
The private, detached bungalows are perfect for us (we don't do high rise blocks). This time we paid a little extra for a Silver and it was worth every penny; simple, classy design, modern air con and temperature adjustment. As with everything on the complex, it was spotlessly clean. Just be aware there's no kitchenette as with some of other bungalows, but we were on half board so it wasn't an issue. The beds and bedding were gorgeous, so comfortable, and the shower was great. We could find nothing to fault with the bungalow, which was cleaned daily.
Both pools are wonderful and again, spotlessly clean - it's nice to have a choice. The laned pool was really warm. The site was quiet and peaceful and never felt overcrowded
The restaurant staff are second to none - they have all perfected the tricky knack of being professional and courteous but friendly. They work SO hard.
And THE FOOD...
Thanks to every single member of the team. Warm, fresh bread at breakfast, fresh fruit and the best pastries I have EVER eaten, and cooked offerings galore. Special thanks to the Pancake Guy (I'm so sorry not to have got your name) for the omelettes cooked to order, eggs, pancakes, and delicious fish, steak etc in the evening. The themed dishes are great and it's all just so, so fresh. Wonderful, varied salads, and veggie options. They think of every single, tiny detail...and remember this is all at 3* prices. Every single member of the kitchen works so hard and deserves the highest praise, not forgetting the dishes guy. THANK YOU.
