The room cleaning service staff was a gem! They were friendly and able to assist in our requests. Out of 10 staff that walked past us, only 1 was friendly and the other 9 pulled a long black face. The breakfast was horrible, was not able to even cook a decent scrambled egg, omelette. Just imagine, even the local Thai food was oily and inedible. Just give the breakfast a miss. Room was a plus point as it was big and spacious with a big jacuzzi. Otherwise, the whole hotel needed a huge makeover as it was looking very old and tired.

Barely a 3 star hotel, pool is crap staff are very unhelpful wouldn’t even book us a taxi, room stinks of sewer. Not to mention the area is awful with nothing to do. Barely any food places been living of 7/11 sandwiches for days and everything there is to eat is so expensive. Room wasn’t cleaned until 4pm every day?!?!? Avoid avoid avoid just book somehwere else matter of fact just don’t come to Phuket

Still here for a weeklong stay. Will update if my thoughts change.

Value- You get what you pay for. If you are wanting luxury, pay a little more and look elsewhere. It worked well enough for us but I kind of kicked myself for not shelling out a little more. If you are ok with budget hotel, this is the one for you.

Appearance- good balance of run-down and updated. The pictures I saw definitely only showed the good angles. The pool was nice but the major downfall is that it closes at the early hour of 7pm. I may have changed my decision to stay had I saw this prior to booking.

Wi-Fi- free but slow and unreliable. In my own room the connection kept dropping and/or was really slow

Breakfast- mediocre. Same thing every day. Good enough to fill the hunger though

Issues I encountered-
1. Room not very well insulated so the room gets extremely humid if you don’t keep A/C low.

2. You can hear EVERYTHING from outside and next door. Some nights I had to have the TV or music on so that I could sleep without being bothered by neighbors or market karaoke.

3. Our room was a connecting room with a stranger next door and they would not shut up. One night they violently tried opening the connecting door in the middle of the night.

4. Ordered a bottle of wine to enjoy with spouse in the room. Was told 500 baht by the waitress, only to find out the next day that it was 1500 baht. I would have never paid $40 USD had I known this. I inquired front desk and they sort of just laughed it off with no resolution.

Would I recommend to others? Only if there are no other options available and as a last resort. There are so many options in the nearby area, so do your research. Enjoy Phuket!
