Just returned from a brilliant 14 night family(9 of us) holiday at Irene Apartments.
A big thank you to Gregory, Irene, & Yiannis, not forgetting the girls serving in the bar, and around the pool, Flora & Grace, plus the hard working ladies in the kitchen, and cleaning the rooms.
We attended the pizza night, and the BBQ night, both well worth trying.
We used a few tavernas around the resort, only one we didn’t like was Ortholiti, at the end of the beach, food was very poor.
We’ve been to AG many times, we love it, the beach is great, and it’s only a half hour from the airport.

BE VERY CAREFUL when booking these apartments they are very good at false advertising they advertise Irene wellness apartments which are actually Irene Apartments which are very basic. They have two areas Irene apartments that are located along a busy road and they have the Irene wellness spot apartments which are very nice, I can confirm from experience I booked with Thomas cook online they confirmed that I would be located in the irene wellness spot apartments confirmed by email and sent me a link confirming when I arrived at the accommodation I was given a basement apartment 211 which was by the road and very basic with a Terrance over looking a mud field garden with a building wire fence in front of our Terrance ! Not nice . We did manage to move and get a room in the wellness spot but had to pay an additional €140 euros for 5 days we had to wait 2 days before we were moved . Apparently this problem happens all the time ? Why ? FALSE ADVERTISING IS THE PROBLEM I can provide evidence if required.

Our original hotel cancelled our booking so we were given Irene Apartments as an alternative so the hotel was not personally chosen, however we are so glad that we were here. The apartments are very nice you are not spending all of your time there so they are more than adequate. We had a problem with our air conditioner but after speaker with Irene and on further inspection we were given another room, first class service. We did venture out to the local town a few minutes walk and a beautiful place. But a lot of our time was spent around the pool, Gregory and Yannis (hope I spelt that right)! were very welcoming, the pool area is lovely and not busy so sun beds were not a problem, the food at the hotel was second to none I really cannot fault anything, a perfect holiday thank you to all the family for a great stay. Would we go back again…in a heartbeat!
