The moment you walk into the reception area you have to check you are in the correct place… it’s a hidden gem the up to date decor and more importantly the friendly staff make you feel totally relaxed. The beaches are 2.5-3k’s away and Tropea is a quick 20 min drive down the road.. the staff are quick with smile and are always ready to have chat.. they are part of one big family which is refreshing. The only negative is that if you are trying to lose some kg’s then don’t come here as you can’t stop eating the food, it’s that good.

This hotel was very smart - great room and bathroom, with a beautiful roof terrace. Parking right next door. Very handy for our boat trip around the Aoelian islands and we also had a wonderful trip out to Capo de Milazzo. The staff were really exceptional - sorting out my laundry on a holiday weekend, and organising a room for me for a 4 hour work meeting after check out - with coffee and water - no charge! Really fabulous.

Where do I begin…..from the moment we walked in the door it was like coming home again. Every single person makes you feel welcomed. The amazing staff goes beyond to make sure every aspect of your stay is perfect. You can tell their kindness is sincere and that they all are proud of what they do. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Their kindness was overwhelming. Pepino the owner is a charismatic gentlemen with a twinkle in his eye who along with his 4 handsome sons and his lovely wife treat everyone like family!!

The Restaurant is beautiful and the Sushi outstanding. They also serve mouth watering Pasta dishes, beef and seafood. You never walk away disappointed but instead looking forward to your next meal.

Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. The whole property is beautiful and well maintained. The views from our room and the sunsets were beautiful, especially seeing the Volcano on Isola Stomboli erupting!

We spent many afternoons relaxing at the beautiful pool, and there is also a shuttle to the beach. Capo Vaticano has much to offer. There are many activities to enjoy in the area so you will never be bored, or you can just relax! You will not be disappointed staying at La Bussola and like us will want to return many times.
