We've visited many resorts in Laguna and Riverview is one of the better ones. Stayed here with family for 1 night.

Rooms are spacious. Cable TV. Functioning A/C. H/C shower. Huge bathroom. Very nice garden for hotel guests. Poor wifi signal though.

You can bring in food inside the hotel. Just clean after. Personal ref can be rented for a fee.

Restaurant serves good food. Hotel stay comes with free breakfast. We ordered room service and the food was delicious and reasonably-priced.

Only 2 pools - 1 for adults and 1 for children. Clean, but strong chlorine-smell. Shared by day-swimmers and hotel guests. I hope they build one exclusive for hotel guests.

On summer weekends, there is a program - stand-up comedy, band, fire dancing, etc. - until 12 midnight. Unfortunately, since the resort is not that huge, you can hear the sound in your room.

Every time I visit the Philippines, I visit Riverview Resort for a relaxing swim and to cool down. The establishment allows you to bring your own food and consume at the Resort. A great place for the kids to meet new friends.

Got the chance to visit Riverview to scout places for a family outing. Riverview seems to be one of the more popular resorts in the area. When I came in around 3pm, the place was packed and the pool was a sight full of frolicking swimmers mostly kids of course.

Here are the good points:
1. Parking is free and there is a guard on duty. It gets full during the day but at night only a few cars were left as most of the visitors were here for a day swim.
2. Pool was very big and at the time of writing was clean and clear.
3. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.
4. Food was above average and passable. The beef tapa for breakfast was great tasting though. Avoid ordering the fried chicken which was very dry. Tempura was good. Price of food was just at the mid-range.
5. Hotel rooms were clean. Beds are basic but comfy. Fortunately the aircon was working. There are several options like the economy room which can accommodate 6 persons and executive suites.
6. Access for disabled guests is available. Ground floor rooms can be booked for them.

Overall a nice place to spend some bonding time with your kids. It gets noisy here so if you are planning a quiet vacation then don't go here. Book in advance as the place is full during the summer season.

Tip: Book directly with the resort. It will be cheaper but you pay a deposit to guarantee your booking.
