Our stay at Hecla was amazing, the kids all had a blast in the pool and couldn't wait to get there once they woke up.
Restaurant had awesome food, and the service was fantastic.
We booked the campfire 2 days in a row and went sledding. Kids are already asking when we can go back
Great food, service, staff are excellent with families with small children. It really is a hidden gem! Fabulous Family weekend, were all ages can participate in walks, games and great family time.

Overall a great getaway. The room could have used a deep cleaning. The fridge froze a few of my items. The hot tub wasn't functioning for the 2nd night. Hallways were noisy in the mornings with kids running up and down. Not very soundproof.
Enjoyed our stay at Hecla Resort and will visit again for their winter special of 3 nights for the price of 2. Loved the indoor/outdoor adults only pool and being able to access the cross country ski trails and lighthouse walking trail straight from the hotel. Overall, the hotel is in need of an upgrade and the restaurant good is not so great. Hopefully they'll be in a position to spend some money on a refresh soon.
We really liked the kids pool for our toddlers spent several hours a day there which was great for tiring them out. restaurant was accommodating and the space felt very open which also was good for toddlers. we spent an hour in the waiting area because it was an open space the littles could explore without bothering anyone. Our heater didn't work in our room which was not awesome in the winter.
