Good food and excellent service

Four of us had a reservation for Bonefish Grill, but somehow the reservation was misplaced. However, they were able to seat us as soon as all of us were out of the parking lot. We were seated at a very comfortable booth, and our server, Zack was very personable and efficient. My rainbow trout was flavorful and not one bone! My wife ordered fish tacos. Each came with a different sauce which gave her an interesting variety to her meal. She liked all of the sauces. Our friends both ordered Ahi tun and said they were cooked properly. The sides served with the entree were seasoned well and the vegetables were not turned into mush, but were served leaving the right texture to the broccoli. In addition to our food, our drinks were served quickly and to the right person...a touch that shows management pays attention to training. Prices were fair for the quality of the food, size of portions and service level. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely select this restaurant for another meal.

Ash Wednesday Success

We went on Ash Wednesday and yes we had a reservation. We still waited for about 25 minutes past our reservation time, but it was a busy day and they were swamped. We got the perfect booth and the absolutely perfect server. My husband and I decided to go with the dinner for two @ $49. It included Bang, bang shrimp, caesar salad, four types of fish and rice, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was great. My martini was chilled perfectly and our server couldn't have been more attentive--even with taking care of the table of 20 that she was responsible for. It was a win all the way around.

Surprise Dinner

This restaurant was a total surprise dinner for us. It was my husband's birthday and I was treating him to dinner. We wanted fish. We were seated promptly. Our waitress, Amanda, was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt with everything even though she had a table of 20 beside us to wait on. ALL employees helped her and us and the restaurant was full. We had a seafood dish for 2 which included appetizer, salad, main meal. We also got dessert. When the bill came, our waitress remembered me saying earlier that it was husband's birthday. She presented him with a birthday card signed by all the present staff, and a box of truffles. That was such a surprise to end an extremely pleasant dining experience.

Chef;s Special is nothing more then getting you to spend more money

While service was crisp and my chef's special was good, I ASSSUMED a chef's special was also a price differential. I ordered it and was surprised that I was charged for the Oscar style on top of my Sea Bass. My fault for thinking it was a special. My partner's dish was not that good - he ordered the shrimp scampi and scallops, salmon was dry and so was the swordfish.

We decided on bonefish for our last meal of our holiday. Our order was taken fast by a very nice lady. I went for the fish special, it was ok but Luke warm, my wife had fillet steak and said again it was ok. For desert we went for the chocolate creme brulee , this was terrible, it had virtually no sugar on the top caramelized and the so called cream custard was a thick kind of mousse. Not the best experience but hey ho.

Very disappointed

We ate there this week with friends and were so disappointed at this Bone Fish Grill’s quality and service. My husband ordered the clams and sent them back as they tasted so bad and he always orders clams when we go out to seafood restaurants. He said it was like the chef tried too hard but didn’t know what he was doing. He ate the corn and shrimp chowder but said it was seasoned poorly. I ordered the ‘Butter fish’ and it was flavorless and slimy and had a strong fish taste - not good but I was embarrassed to send it back. It was not fresh caught even though the waitress said it was. We eat at the Lakeland Bone Fish Grill and have always been happy with the quality and service- never disappointed with the Lakeland one. The ‘manager’ did not charge for my husband’s dish and replaced it with a dessert ( a small sliver of cheesecake). We would not recommend this particular Bone Fish Grill

Disappointed

Went for brunch hubby got eggs Benedict with bang bang shrimp, eggs came out hard they have changed the way they make the poached eggs by making them in an egg poacher instead of dropping straight into water. Ray our server was great as he always is and changed them straight away. I had the Kobe burger no complaints, it will not stop us going again. Keep up the good work Raymond.

The wife and I had the rare opportunity to eat out without the kids tagging along. We chose this restaurant because of the proximity to the Orange Lake Resort and the menu options. Upon arriving we found that they had a special menu in addition to what was shown on the website. My wife chose the Thermidor Gnocchi from that menu and I chose the Imperial Dip for an appetizer along with Fish & Chips for my meal. The dip was awesome. I wish it had a few more chips for dipping. The Fish & Chips were exactly what I was craving! My wife's Thermidor Gnocchi was delicious although it had a few more peas than she would have cared for. All in all, a great meal and a great time! I would highly recommend this location!

We love Bonefish but this was the worst experience we have had with Bonefish. We sat for 6 minutes before being acknowledged. We then ordered our beverage, it took a while to get our drinks, then they normally bring bread. We ordered our food, our salads came, then our meal and we still had no bread. We asked for bread and was told the server would be right back with it. We waited and waited and was almost completely done eating before getting bread. The server was not attentive to us at 4 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. There were about 5 tables in the entire restaurant. Our food was great, we love the Salmon. I get the Pan Asian sauce and my mom gets the mango salsa. We love the bang bang shrimp and love the Hooked on Tuesday's specials they had before Covid. They no longer offer that. They took the green beans off the menu saying it's a seasonal thing. Green beans are good all year around. We love the green beans. The choice for veggies is not great. They have like Broccoli. No baked potato, just garlic mash which I love. They used to have spinach as a side, but now have made it a creamed spinach and it is a premium side to where you have to pay more for it. For spinach it costs more. Why? it is cheaper than broccoli. We were not impressed at this Bonefish in Florida.

Always excellent food and drinks

The restaurant was so crowded when we went there was a 45 minute wait so we sat at the bar where we were able to order our dinner. Despite being extremely busy the service was excellent, the bartender Jay did an amazing job taking care of us and everyone else. The cucumber margaritas were wonderful, Bang Bang shrimp appetizer is always awesome, sea bass was delicious, and the Bang Bang shrimp tacos were great.

Disastrous Valentines

We had Valentines dinner at the Bonefish Grill in Kissimmee. This was perhaps my worst experience dinning at a restaurant. It was a litany of mistakes that made the meal and the experience so bad. I ordered a gin and tonic, this was brought to the table as straight gin, no tonic. When I asked where the tonic was I was told they don't bring the tonic unless specifically asked for. Funny I asked for a gin and tonic, what was missing in that?? We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp with the sauce on the side as my wife loves the Shrimp but not the spice in the sauce. Guess what, the appetizer came with the sauce on It. back it went. The server never once appeared at the table to let us know what was happening with our order during our 50 minute wait. Three of us ordered the Filet And Scallop special, each with their own sides, well after waiting for the mains to show up, the orders were completely messed up. Wrong sides with each dish we had ordered each of the filets cooked to a different level of doneness. I like my steaks blue and none of the filets was done to that level. The other diners had to cut into each steak to figure out how their steaks were cooked, then exchange the sides to match their orders. The server did offer to redo them, but after already having waited that long for our food the prospect of waiting another 50 minutes was not an option. If this had not been Valentines and being their with friends we would have got up and walked out. The server never once offered any recompense for the disastrous meal And barely apologized. I have dined at other Bonefish Grill's and they have been good, that is why this was So Disappointing. At this juncture I would not consider dining at another one. FYI, I have posted this review on Bonefish Grills website and have yet to receive a reply.

High quality seafood, wine & service!

Chilean Sea Bass (had a dinner special which was topped with cheese, crab) was divine! Both my daughter and I got this and we ate every bite! Sautéed spinach & garlic mashed potatoes were great side dishes. Calamari for appetizer was also good. We ordered Francis Coppola Directors Cut Chardonnay which paired nicely with our meal. We loved our experience so much, we went a second time on our vacation (although they didn’t have the special on our second visit, the regular Chilean Sea Bass (lemon butter seasoning) was very good as well. Highly recommend!

Bonefish Grill's like other upscale chains, offer consistently good fish with a very similar menu. When I go there I usually order the Chilean sea bass, and it wasn't disappointing this time. The service is usually excellent, in our server tonight Amanda did a very good job. The facility is always clean, upscale, but the downside is they don't change their menu very often. But I would definitely go back, and it's reasonably priced. My girlfriend had the pecan parmesan trout, but the trout is farm-raised. What they should really offer is fresh rainbow trout and just charge it for it, and it's something that I would eat. The bar scene is good, the drinks are good, and overall you get decent value for what you paid.

Enjoyable shrimp and tuna

Having eaten in other Bonefish Grills it was good to find one in Kissimmee now too near our hotel. Enjoyed the shrimp and sushi to start and tuna rice salad and shrimp noodles for mains. Friendly service and would return.

Seasonal Dishes for the Win

We travelled to Florida in October, and whenever possible, we look up the nearest Bonefish Grill! The menu doesn't change much from location to location, but on this visit they boasted about a seasonal dish - pumpkin ravioli! It was just as delicious as you might imagine! I ordered Salmon, a usual for me, and I believe the ravioli outperformed the Salmon! So take note of seasonal dishes when you can at Bonefish Grill locations near you. Service and atmosphere were excellent. We were very happy with our visit.
