We had gelato for lunch and dinner at this place.. enough said. The flavors are so authentic and the setting is cozy. Expect to stand in line on some popular nights

We had the limon and the coconut. Both were very good. Both also were filled to the top and packed in so even a small one was very filling

My husband and I have been pining for horchata since our trip to Valencia pre-covid. When we found this spot in Barcelona, we were so excited. It did not disappoint. We got nice sized horchatas and were very happy.

The quality and the taste of the product is excellent. The proportion of the tiger nuts, sugar an filtered water is well-balanced. Best Horchata outside Valencia.

Found this place as i was desperate to try horchata, took a bit of walking to get to, but the friendly welcome more than made up for it.
lads behind the bar were really chatty and helpful, gave us some free nibbles (fartons) to go with the horchata as well.
its well worth a visit for some lovely horchata!

Ice cream was fine.
But my god what a mess! And no attempt by the staff at any time to clean up!! At times all 4 staff just sat talking when there were no customers.

I went here to specifically try the horchata but it wasn't my jam. Tasted like almond milk to me. Others in my party ordered delicious ice cream sundaes and after enviously watching them, I ended up ditching my horchata and ordering a sundae instead. Go with the ice cream, folks.

Try the Orxata de Valencia, it’s a sweet specialty, like a milk shake - very good on a hot day! If you like sweets.
The Horchateria has two stores next to each other. Inside the one on the left you can see illustrations on the walls on how the Orxata de Xufa is processed (Orxata de Xufa, in Valenciano. Horchata de Chufa, in Spanish.)

Brought my daughter yesterday by chance there to have an ice cream and was a bit surprised at the beginning by the huge queue in front and the fact that you need to pick up a ticket with a number and wait for a while. But after some 5-10min we got the ice cream and i realized why😀 It was really good and the price is really fair. My daughter and me loved the ice cream. They offer by the way many more things which are very popular among the locals. We definitely go again these days and if you are in Barcelona and around this place should try it as well.

Just when you think that all horchatas are just a gray-white sugary milky drink...think again!
This one is cold, fresh, full of flavor. You cannot miss it!
By the way, the vanilla ice cream is pretty good too.

Fantastic horchata, very nice and friendly people. I would only wish that they have better fartons but i can imagine that having the industrial ones is convenient and in the end you can take horxata with you and have the fartons that u prefer. In any case i had my horxata there and i can definitely go back.
