It was overwhelming as vegetarians to pick our meal when we first went to this restaurant for dinner. My friend and I decided to split the croquettes to nibble on so we could try various flavours and were very pleased with all flavours. We also split the portobello dumplings and the tacos. The tacos were tasty but the dumplings were amazing - the texture and flavour were very unique and delicious! Our server was lovely and very attentive and able to help steer us in the right direction with the plentiful menu. We enjoyed ourselves so much we ended up returning the following day to try some of their salads but it was so busy for lunch we ended up just ordering it to go and had a wonderful picnic at Plaza Catalunya. My friend and I both found our salads yummy, fresh and filling. I highly recommend planning ahead and making reservations to this very popular and great restaurant.

The place is warm and cute. The menu is fully vegetarian which is amazing. We wanted to ty everything. Tables were spaced correctly as for covid measures. The service was efficient.
The eggplant rolls were well executed, the croquetas too, especially the pecorino one.
The lasagna was different from what we usually find but interesting as we could actually taste all the flavours from all vegetables. Very good home made tomato sauce.
The rice was amazing, crunchy side and smokey like it should be.
As for desert the catalan cheesecake is an absolute must!
Overall a very good experience. The bill comes out a bit more expensive though than other vegetarian places in the city, so I really recommand Teresa Carles to celebrate a special event.

Excellent place, neatly laid out, quiet and efficient. The friendly staff helped select the most appropriate items for food and drink. The food as freshly prepared and elegantly served. Best suited for healthy vegetarian meals served with fast-food promptness. Open from 0900-2330 hours. Highly recommended.

We have visited the restaurant on the 26th of September with my girlfriend and initially wanted one degustation menu and with that order more dishes. The staff told us that since we are 2 people they cannot prepare the degustation for only one person and both of us have to order it (30€ per person) and guaranteed that the portions are big.
Long story short, if you order degustation menu, you are paying nearly doble for smaller portion. You will do better ordering things separately. A HUDGE DISAPPOINTMENT!
Luckily one of the staff members: BRIDGET was amazing. She admitted that her colleague have deceived us as we wanted to do thing differently and he claimed that the portions are normal. Bridget handled the situation extremely professionally with lightness and admitted that you are paying more for a lot less and adjusted the menu so we could leave somehow full. The restaurant is a favorite of my girlfriend and she wanted to give a try to the degustation menu which resulted to be a scam with the amounts so please, just stay away from degustation menu and invest the money smarter into separate dishes.
Again, thanks to Bridget as she saved the day with a smile on her face and positivity... A+ for Bridget and the restaurant should be clear with the amounts of food somehow, we were be more than happy to spend the 60€ or even more in separately dishes. The one star is for the restaurant’s policy.

Dear vikktor123, we apollogize for the not satisfactory experience with the menú in our Restaurant. We are already working on a exaustive review of the degustation offer, portion and the whole experience. Probably something in the portions went wrong as the menu was designed to be enough and worth it.
It has been long from the last menu we served and normally they were designed and used for big groups. w
One more time, we are really sorry and we guarantee that we will work on that to bring a good experience.

We had been looking forward to a celebration meal here and the dishes and experience did not disappoint. From the welcome cocktail to the delicious coffee, the food was perfect. We didn't feel rushed, but nor were we kept waiting for the next plate. The portion sizes were just right for a series of dishes.
The only reason I give four stars rather than five is that we wanted the degustación menu, and when we arrived we were told that they'd have to check with the kitchen to see if they could provide it; and in the end, they did. If you want this menu, I suggest you ask for it when you reserve your table.

Dreadful service and awful food basically sums up this place. Arrived at 8pm. The waitress was rude , no customer service skills. Asked for olives and chicken croquettes to nibble, told they didn’t have any. No olives in Spain?
The kale chips were placed in the middle of the table, no plates. The plant based chicken nuggets were dry. When it came to the main course the waitress picked up the knife and forks we had used put them back on the also used serviette to use again for the main course. Pad Thai was a bowel of bland stodge and the vegan meat roll were mini burnt burgers with a congealed cold cream sauce.
All the foods we ordered came within 5 mins indicating they were pre cooked and warmed up. Unable to eat it, politely declined to pay. No apology from the staff, just said “ ok leave then”. Never had an experience like it .

Easily the best restaurant we visited on our Barcelona stay.
The decor is very tasteful and blends old and new beautifully. We ordered from a set menu at lunch time and I had a starter and main whereas my husband opted for a main and dessert. All of the dishes were delicious; the potato omelette was the best I have ever had.
Service was efficient rather than friendly but the restaurant was already getting busy 15 minutes after opening so that would have likely been a factor.
Would absolutely recommend to vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.

Easily one of our best meals in Barcelona. We had the bomba, the mango/avocado tartare, the escudilla, the dumplings, and the millefeuille for dessert. Several of those dishes had Catalan flavor profiles that we hadn't experienced before but thoroughly enjoted. The imitation caviar was a fun, delicious touch on the tartare. The dessert came with 'Catalan cream' that had a distinct and excellent chai flavor.

Outstanding experience with flavours, best vegetarian vegan restaurant I have been to! One small thing, the seitan burger that was recommended to us, did not seem on the same level with the rest of the menu at all. It was very stodgy, the bread nothing special, and the colour of the burger was as red as raw meat, that's just my opinion, it did taste nice but not 'fine dining' standard. Otherwise, fabuloouuss!

Used to be our favourite we’ve not been In Spain for 4 years. I booked in advance today for lunch for my husbands birthday. We were so looking forward to it. The staff were terrible no welcome, no asking how our food was. I would say rude to be honest our waitress looked like we were a nuisance for being there. More like canteen or fast food ‘service’ what a shame. So disappointed. Lunch menu ok basic as you expect for menu del dia. We would have liked tasting menu but coldness of staff put me off spending decent money there.

Upon my recent visit to Teresa Carles, I anticipated a meal that would captivate my palate. Unfortunately, the experience fell dramatically short of expectations. The fare seemed distressingly factory-made, presenting with the rapidity and tepidity of a chain eatery rather than a bespoke dining establishment. The dishes, ranging from Cannelloni to Caesar salad, arrived suspiciously swiftly and lacked warmth. Even the Black Forest cake, evidently pre-cut and refrigerated, failed to deliver the freshness one craves from a patisserie. The beverage selection did not redeem the evening, with many choices unavailable. The ambiance paralleled the food in disappointment, sterile and devoid of charm, leaving me yearning for a more authentic culinary encounter.

We had the vegetarian taster menu which was 60 Euros for the two of us but included a bottle of wine and so much food we had to take some of it home. It was all delicious and the service was excellent. Would certainly go again next time we are in Barcelona

Visited for lunch on Sunday and my partner and I both really enjoyed our meal.
We shared the croquette assortment to start and for mains we had the arroz del senyoret and spaghetti all’aglio nero. All dishes were very tasty and great vegetarian takes of traditional Spanish dishes. Nice setting and good service.

For our last evening in Barcelona we really wanted to go here, but we had a terrible time. One member of staff was so rude that it honestly ruined our evening. She was aggressive and pressured us into ordering. our friends had a stomach ache from eating so fast because we felt rushed and wanted to leave.
We ordered ‘nibbles’ and ‘starters’ with our mains, our food arrived 1 min after we ordered. Some of the mains came before starters! Everything was mixed. Food was some good. Some okay.
We could not enjoy the food because we felt watched and rushed. Very disappointing.

Probably one of the best restaurants i have visited. The selection of food is superb. We shared 4 or 5 starters then we each chose a different main course. Good job we liked each other enough to happily share spoonfuls of each others dish was a joy. The bravas was out of this world and included sweet potato and beetroot. Stuffed courgettes to die for. And the catalan cheesecake..heavenly.
