Enrique was so kind and helpful. Most mornings we just want a cappuccino, he always remembered our names & how we like it. In the mornings we wanted a lite breakfast he was ready with delicious soft scrambled eggs and an egg white omelette for me. I would come back to this hotel just because of the lovely service we received

Recently I visited Barcelona, lovely town! Walking through LAS RAMBLAS I noticed the concerned restaurant, and being curiosed I went there the last night of my visit. I was served by GIADA, a nice professional italian waitress. The restaurant is elegant, service is perfect, I noticed that all the employes are well customer oriented. Being a winelover, I realized they have a good menu for food and an interesting wine list of spanish products of course. I recommend CentOnze Restaurant to all tourists and locals, especially about position in Ciutat Vella, very close to Plaça the Catalunya. Prices are aligned with those of other restaurants of the same level (CentOnze is the Restaurant of Le Meridien Hotel).

During our stay at Le Meredian (Wednesday August 3 to Sunday August 7), my wife and I enjoyed their breakfast buffets for 17 euros each. This particular breakfast buffet definitely felt like one you’d encounter in a U.S. hotel, with scrambled eggs and bacon. It also had local dishes like croquettes and various cold meats. The staff members were very friendly and spoke some English. The best part was the unlimited coffee, that included lattes. The young lady who makes the coffee drinks (and works at the coffee stand in the lobby) is especially friendly! On our first evening in Barcelona, we also had dinner here. My wife ordered the tenderloin and I got the burger with fries. Although I enjoyed my burger, I wish I had also ordered the tenderloin. We both agreed it was the best steak we’ve had during our entire trip in Spain. She also ordered the vegetables, based on the server’s recommendation, which were delicious. For dessert, we ordered the ice cream dishes. For 8 euros each, they were small for the price, especially my wife’s fruit one. Although my wife and I will not stay at this hotel again, we would come back here again in a heartbeat for breakfast

Went to have lunch here since I was staying at the La Meridien and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing, Alejamdro gave me good suggestions and was very attentive. The restaurant has good selections and a beautiful view of the street, I highly recommend it especially for the service.

I'm a restaurant owner and I understand the business very well. That place is INSANE. We waited 10 + minutes to be recognized to order a drink. 15 min later, I went to the bar to order my second drink and friendly asked whether we can order food. The sourdough Tomato Tapas was a wholegrain desert dry toast with ONE Cherry tomato on the side. My dog would refuse to eat that. The Gnocchi for 16 Euros would easily fit in a small coffee mug. The Tall beer comes in a 0.33 l Glass. Are they serving small beers in shot glasses ? I friendly told my concerns to the GM. He smiled at me and said sorry.

We stayed 20 nights with Marriott last year and this restaurant was by far the worst in service and food quality from all the Marriott’s we’ve visited. Our waiter got our order wrong which we don't mind as restaurant owners. We understand that mistakes happen but the way they handled it was bad. My wife's main arrived with my side only as my main course and her side dish came wrong. They left her main on the table but they had to prepare mine still so her food got cold while she was waiting for me to be served which took some time. The correct thing would have been to take her food back and serve us once the whole order was correct. Portions were very small, my canelloni was rushed and a bit burned, the fresh apple doesn't match at all in a canelloni, her pork was tiny for a main and very chewy in some parts. The only good things were the croquettes we had as starter and my side of truffle mash potatoes. The mushrooms were very boring not even with some salt so she didn't eat much. But the biggest problem was what happened after. As a restaurant owner and manager you always try to fix any issues before the customer leaves. The waiter asked us if we want the dessert menu which was wrong. He should have offered a dessert on the house and maybe some coffee or tea which is the least they could do. I mean it was obvious we didn't enjoy our food so far. Then I asked for the bill which came the exact amount of what we ordered. To be honest I don't care for that but if you didn't offer any complimentary dessert you should at least admit the mistakes and discount it. Maybe they didn't know that we are hotel guests. But then when the manager saw it and she couldn't charge to our room as we were on cash basis she had to come back so then she gave the discount which I didn't care about the 16 euros I saved. The main thing is that there was no intention from their side to rectify the situation at all. No attempt whatsoever to correct the mistake. The funniest thing of all was that the waiter who took our order was nowhere to be seen after that until we left haha. I hope Marriott will get back to us regarding this issue.

We ordered 4 Paellas for our family that was not enough to serve the four people. The waitress identified the mistake and ordered a complementary Paella to attend the whole family. The complimentary Paella came but it was not cooked enough and the new waiter was not pleased to serve us and made a lot of noise and also made a cynical joke about only one Paella for 4 people. I definitely would not return to this restaurant and will never comeback again. I hope they understand that customers are not responsible for their mistake and should be treated well although the complain about the amount of food served.

We stayed at the adjacent hotel and had breakfast several times in the restaurant. The breakfast is very varied, with many dishes, and I would like to highlight the omelets with wild mushrooms. We also stopped by in the evening for cocktails - they make great cocktails and the service is excellent. I recommend it.

Stopped for lunch and booked for dinner as well. Popped in Cent111 for some tapas which was absolutely delicious, atmosphere relaxed so we decided to make a reservation for dinner after some more sightseeing. Dinner also delicious, loved the food and fantastic service from all the staff.

As hotel guests, we stopped for breakfast before heading out for the day. Service was sluggish at start, but food arrived in a timely fashion after ordering. We ordered a fruit plate that we shared and each ordered the avocado toast - that if we knew would be so large, would have shared a single order. Food was tasty and fresh.

Walked in at 21:00. Waiter didn’t approach us till 21:25. At which point we ordered our food and drinks as we’d have plenty of time to study the menu. Brought 1 of our 4 drinks at 21:35 but it was incorrect so was sent back. Did not receive all of our drinks until 21:45. 45 mins after walking in.. and I had to get a bit arsey with the waiter to even get the drinks pointing out that tap water and Pepsi should be pretty instant (or so I thought), and we haven’t even mentioned how long it took to get the food yet! Didn’t get starters till 21:54. They were absolutely lovely. Mains came about 22:15. They were also very good! The food we ate was fab, the service we received could have been better for sure!

Just visited this restaurant after seeing the good reviews on trip advisor. Unfortunately I think they were probably eating at a different place. The staff we so rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. Offered bread to every table besides ours. I had the BBQ rib - which is actually just layer after layer of fat * see photo *

This is the restaurant in the Le Méridien hotel in Barcelona. We ate breakfast here each morning of our stay and though the place gets very busy and crowded, the service was always excellent! The food was pretty nice and they had plenty of options; such as, croquettes, omelet station, scrambled eggs, full charcuterie, breads, juices, breakfast meats, etc. The dining room if beautiful and though it gets packed, you can relax and dine comfortably at your table. The best seats are those in the window on the Ramblas, where you can watch all the traffic and pedestrians.

During my stay in Barcelona over 9 days we battled and was not satisfied with any of the restaurants we dined at. Our dinner at CentOnze changed that. Service was friendly. Fine dining plating and looked very appetizing. Food was flavorful and really delicious. Definitely will recommend this restaurant however they are quite pricey.

Lovely place but a very strange seafood paella - i am sure it was cooked for lunch and served for dinner - the shrimp and other shellfish were definitely not fresh and we surely know what fresh means when it comes to all kind of shellfish as its our bread and butter. Pity to have such a low quality food offering fit to ruin guest’s dinners. Quality control should be taken seriously particularly when shellfish is involved … cannot understand why such a well appointed restaurant @ le meridien would allow this to happen
