Delicious lunch. We ordered pulpo and carpacio de salmón to start. Both excellent. The paella de vieras, langostinos y puplo caldoso was one of the best I have tasted. Service friendly and efficient. We will definately return

In a last visit to BCN we had found the predecessor (Mercedes) of this restaurant near our hotel but did not manage to eat there. This time when we visited we found that the El Noi d'Alcoi has opened.
Small cozy restaurant, with a nice menu, a lot of emphasis on sea food plates and risotos.. We had the shrimp and the salmon carpacio as starters and then we splitted a seafood paella. Very good tastes and good size portions.
Definetely will revisit. Reservations are recomended. Also patience, as there is only one server taking care of everything... A second server would help a bit I think the situation. This is why I also put a lower rating in serving..

A nice, small place, with good service and a wide range of rice dishes.
Maybe a little noisy, but ideal to go with friends and family, to make good rice again.

We have asked for a menu. 2 dishes plus dessert.
Excellent all of them. With 2 beers 38 euros. Let's create a super correct price.
The place, cozy and the service a 10!! Apart from professionalism, friendliness and agility. Very, very recommended!!

Coworkers and I visit this restaurant often and we really like the rice they make. We always order a menu and leave very satisfied both with the attention received and with the quality of the food. Small, but cozy.

Really bad.
Watery and flavorless paella, put a dough on top over white rice. The raisin is probably a preparation for paellas.
The octopus.... Better not to talk
Only the friendliness of the waiters saves but this does not compensate for the bad food
In short, highly unrecommended.

Good food, good area and good service. The restaurant is very small, I recommend making a reservation. It has two menus to choose from and a la carte. Good value for money.

We went to celebrate my grandmother's birthday and everything went perfect! The rice dishes were delicious and just right with salt, which is very important for adults. We also really liked the two homemade desserts. When we arrived we were worried to see so many people in such a small space, but since it was open and so well attended we didn't even notice! We really enjoyed the experience and my grandmother left very happy, a key factor for her special day. Congratulations and thank you!

The food is excellent but the personal attention is very poor, one of the diners from the group suffering from ALS moving with an orthopedic chair, when politely asking if she could serve the rice on the plate, the answer was NEGATIVE. We don't have time!!!!!!
I'm not going to set foot in this restaurant.
