OMG just iconic small town Chinese Canadian food. Really well prepared, generous portions. This busy place is obviously a staple of the community and for good reason.

I have stopped at "The Bird" many times for a combo #1, Harry's Famous wings as well as the buffet. The food is always fantastic and the service is great! 10/10 would recommend. Take a drive out to Levack to take in the beautiful scenery and get the best Chinese food in all of Greater Sudbury.

Won Ton soup is the best out there. The chicken balls are always fresh and tasty, and the peppered pork is fantastic!! Best Chinese food out there!

I had the combo #5 (guy ding) for lunch today. It came with an egg roll, chicken fried rice, and the main of guy ding. This version of guy ding is made with chicken, celery, and carrots. The sauce was very good.
The highlight was the egg roll. I'm usually not very enthusiastic about egg rolls but this one was delicious. Not exactly sure what the filling was but it certainly was not filled with sprouts like most egg rolls.
The combo plate was inexpensive and pretty much what I was expecting.

Again this year we ordered take out Chinese food from the Blue Bird for our celebration. We ordered enough food for ten and served 11 , and still had plenty of leftovers for the boys for next day. Very pleased with the service and great tasting food. Our total cost was 145.00.

This restaurant is a bit of a legend in Levack, lovingly referred to as the bird. It isnt fancy but its comfortable and its nice to walk in and see the owners kids doing homework and hanging out. Everyone is very nice and the prices are amazing. The food is the best you will find, never greasy and the egg rolls are the best Ive ever had.

First off the prices are amazing! The combo platters give you enough food to eat til youre stuffed and still have leftovers. They have incredible egg rolls, guy ding, fried rice and chicken balls. The building itself is far from fancy but the owners and their kids are super nice and the food will make you forget its not fancy.

this is the first time I have ate here and let me tell you...the food is the best I have ever had in the Chinese cuisine. The Won-ton soup, bacon fried rice & wings are the best. I've alwasy heard about this place, but never tried it. It was well worth the drive from Sudbury and we will return as often as we can get out to Levack.
The owners and there 3 boys are very friendly and helpful to order what you want to eat, if you don't understand the menu.

amazing people mama lynn and wah were awsome and now the new owners are just as nice the kids will help the parents take some orders they are sweet hearts!! best wanton soup you'll ever have mmmm and the bluebird wings AMAZING!! i have been a customer/ family member since i was like 5 and im 26 now with two children of my own and the owners love them and always ask about them!! great friendly service if you are heading to timmins take the extra 5 min outta your way to go eat at the blue bird!!

"The Bird" as its called by locals is close to all of our hearts here in Levack . You can go in after scool and find the childern doing there homework at one of the tables with there friends . You are always greeted with a smile by the owners and made to feel welcome.
The important part is the food there wings are huge and the best I have ever eaten there crispy and fresh . We usually get the Chicken chop sue and its obvious not only is it made fresh but someone put some effort into making sure it would taste good .
we have had there buffet and although it was not huge it was filled with tasty treats alll cooked to perfection and served with that winning smile .
