The hotel/motel was good for an over night stay, went to a friends birthday and didn’t want to drink and drive so spent the night.
It was clean and basic, had a fridge.
You can hear a lot through the doors and in the hall but at least it wasn’t overly busy.

The rooms were clean, always had enough towels, staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Smitty’s restaurant is next door and the motel gives you coupons for a free breakfast every morning. Not far from shopping.

I go for breakfast once a week for the special. 2 people can have breakfast for under $15.00 including coffee. Waitresses are very friendly and they are quick on their feet. You get a great view of Chuck the Catfish

I have stayed here a few times, and it is a nice clean hotel that is close to downtown. Although there isn't an attached restaurant, Smitty's and Kelly's Lounge are just across the parking lot. There is lots of parking (even for a big service truck) right out in front of the hotel. The staff has always been great, and the rooms are nice and clean with nice beds. If you like good water pressure for your shower like I do, this is your place. It can almost peel paint off or pin a small child against the back wall, but it sure feels nice. Over all, it's a nice place to spend the night that won't break the bank.

Hotel is easy to find on the main street through town, and is next door to a Smitty's restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner, and the adjoining bar serves the Smitty's menu after the restaurant closes for late diners (like ourselves). The room was very spacious, clean and well-maintained for an older facility. We especially liked the exterior entrance/exit to/from the room, which is automatically activated once you use your key card to enter from the interior hallway. We would definitely stay here again.

This is our motor lodge/ inn of choice while staying in the Selkirk area for 7-14 days at a time/4-6 times a year. While it is not newer, it is clean (with daily maid service), comfortable, has Free WiFi, newer flat screen TV's with cable and daily "vouchers" for breakfast at Smitty's family restaurant (your choice of eggs, toast or hash browns and meat, French toast with fruit or pancakes) next door (they share the same parking lot. The rooms are prices for a king bed with kitchenette (stocked with essentials- plates, bowls, cups, utensils, toaster, pots and pans) are very fair and they have a new amazing Loyalty Reward that can't be beat- stay 4 nights, get one free! The motor inn is all one level with 2 doors- one into hallway and one directly to parking lot. We have never experienced a problem with noise. Super location in downtown Selkirk - close to restaurants (one being Smitty's Family Restaurant and Kelly's bar - right next door), super markets, etc. Customer service is always pleasant (especially Rosalee) and willing to address any issues immediately. This is the hidden gem for fishermen and those wanting an extended stay. Tip- try to stay on side away from Smitty's for extra quiet.
