Outside doesn't do it justice. As soon as you walk in its renovated and actually quite nice. Flat screens in their rooms. For the price it was quite good. It's no hilton but for a town this size I liked it. The service in the restaurant was slow one morning so we got our breakfast for free.

I traveled a lot in my life, this is the worst room in my life.
It's expensive for what it is. The room was ok but did not look below beds and corners.
The carpet leaves to be desired, needs a good deep cleaning especially on the sides. The mattresses are good for the trash. Need to reinvest in mattresses, bedding & towels. The decor of the reception is beautiful and you expect to have the same kind of decor in the rooms. No sorry it's more like a school class brig! Weird.

If you have to leave early for work or you back on the road, forget it the cafe is not open until 7:30. And that's for life for species or other services. For the room price lunch is not included. For the restaurant service it was long but coffee and breakfast was good.

It's a small town, people are friendly.

Small sparse rooms, but updated to 1999 standards. Good for short stays, in centre of town. Good restaurant, and bar very friendly people. Morning coffee crew on rainy days will update on crops and politics. Price was consistent with facility $75 + taxes

I contacted them to add another night to our stay for the weekend and advised them that our pet would be joining us. They said no problem, for the first two nights there is a $25 pet fee per day, the third night pet fee is $10. I had no problem with that. We checked in, paying $238.45 for two nights and took our room keys. Unbeknownst to me, the keys were for a single/double room. I returned to the front desk saying “I specifically reserved a queen room”. That’s when they told me the queen rooms were not pet friendly. If I’d have known that prior to driving for hours, I would have boarded my dog. I asked for some sort of discount. The young lady apologized profusely for the mix up, stating she wasn’t aware of the pet queen room situation and found the owner to ask about my inquiry. I asked him if he could discount the pet fees or provide some sort of compensation and he refused. The room was not clean, cobwebs everywhere, the corners of the entire “suite” were built up with, I would say, a few years of dirt buildup. Our toilet did not flush properly. I asked the owner if he could swing by and take a look. He proceeded to plunge the toilet and said that too much toilet paper was used. I used six squares (two ply) for crying out loud! Who says that to a guest? He left the plunger “just in case” we needed it. We had to plunge it every time! There was a pail hanging from the pipe under the bathroom sink because the taps leaked, we could feel the springs in their very old mattresses, we had to push the door up and in at the same time in order to close it properly. The soap provided was horrible, it barely lathered. On my way back to the room from discussing extended our stay with the owner, I saw the housekeeper sweeping off the beds instead of changing the sheets. I do not recommend.

I had to stay 1 night for work and i was booked here. It was so disgusting i cried. Not one thing was clean!!! The second you walk in your hit with this horrible smell.Carpets filthy and the entire carpet to the right of the bed was soaked. Dead bugs all over. None of the locks worked. Layers and layers of dust. Night tables covered in sticky residue probably from split pop. The bathroom completely unclean. The curtain full of dirt and the tub covered in old soap like it had never been wiped down. No fitted sheet on the bed. And so much more. Please for your health do not stay here.

At the price, this property is an excellent deal. Yes, it needs to be refurbished as the rooms smell damp and of smokers from 30 years ago but it was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent and also a great price.
There were some excessively loud residents on the Saturday night who clearly had too much to drink at the bar on the premises, but through the week the residents appeared to be workers from out of town so very quiet.
Housekeeping seemed sporadic, some days they came, some days they did not. We didn't appreciate being woken up by the cleaning staff opening our door at 6:45 am on our last day there. What was she thinking?
Oh well, still more than I expected but a far cry from what it could be.

No coffee machine
Booked for 2 night - had to leave after 1
Manager/Owner said he wouldnt refund our 2nd nite
He stated 24hr cancellation policy
We weren’t informed upon booking!
Charging $84-$89 only worth $49-$59
I asked if he could put my bottles into a freezer for me for my cooler - his response was “We sell ice!” Im like where’s your customer service MF’r?
Boss had to call credit card company

RUN, STAY AWAY - I’m not against ppl making a lvg, I’m against blatant ignorance & bad business practices!

This happened to me by another Korean in Boyle Ab! After threats of BAD REVIEWS & calling RCMP, that owner/manager finally refunded the last nights charge

This was the first hotel this year (since May) that tried to pull this BS on us

We were in town to celebrate my cousins 50th wedding anniversary. Since we didn't want to drive back to the city that evening, we decided to book a couple of rooms in the motel. Reservations went smoothly. Check in was smooth.

The two rooms we booked both had a single bed and a double bed in the room. The furniture was modern and in good shape. Flat screen TV. I had to monkey around with the TV to get it to work. Unplugging the cable box power source, then unscrewing the cable wire. Changing the Input on the TV to HDMI2. After a few minutes the TV came on and was working good.

The hot water in the sink was great, however, the hot water in the shower didn't exist. The pipes banged so loud in the wall, I thought they would burst right through.

The sheets were clean, not a fitted sheet on the mattress, but a flat sheet kind of folded/tucked around the edges which came off in the night.

The corners of the bathroom were filthy and under the sink (on the piping) it was black with dust. Mold in the corners and around the seam of the bathtub.

The room only had one desk lamp by the heads of the bed and one overhead light situated by the entry door from inside hallway. I think they must have had a 40w bulb in it as it was sooooo dim.

No phone in the room and didn't have an alarm clock either. Have never stayed in a hotel without a phone or an alarm clock.

Not one picture on the wall, just painted cinder blocks walls.

Thank goodness we only stayed one night, I'm not sure if I could have handled another night.

Room Tip: Choose the other side of the main parking lot. When the bar crowd leaves, it would be quite noisy.
