We stayed at Next Paradise for 7 nights after a week on Safari in the Serengeti, and it was a very welcomed 7 nights here indeed.
On arrival we were upgraded from an Ocean view room to the Honeymoon villa which meant we had our own pool with direct access to the beach. Our villa was large, clean and that goes for the entire resort complex too. Although visitor numbers were down due to the pandemic, the hotel took pride in making sure everything still looked great, and that goes for their service too. They catered for our dietary requirements, and being on a half board package we were very well fed. The breakfast was very generous with lots of variety and the set menu was different every night and very delicious.
The beach in front of the resort was white just like the pictures and the sea water crystal clear and quite shallow. We noticed our side of the island was quiet which suited our needs to relax and we also felt very safe.
We'd like to give a special thank you to Sylvia, Suzi, Mohammed and Ali who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special!
If you are in doubt of whether or not you should travel at the moment, I would say definitely go. Myself and my wife felt safer being in Zanzibar than at our local supermarket in London, you'd be supporting the local economy and it's unlikely you'll get to experience a holiday with such few tourists. If you were to travel, i would also highly recommend Next Paradise to stay.

We visited as a family of 4 in October 2019, having been on safari. We arrived in a thunderstorn at night, but when we woke up in the morning, the sky had cleared and we could see the beautiful resort. It was a tropical paradise, white sand, blue skies and the bluest, warm sea. We stayed in a family room, which was a very good size. We very much appreciated the towel art! The mature palms gave good coverage on the resort and the main area and pools were only a short walk away. The view to the sea is stunning. The wifi worked pretty well we thought and when it did go off, Stuart sorted it out quickly.
We loved the food. The breakfast was limitless. Our boys took a particular liking to the pancakes and the staff were always very happy to make more, it seems like nothing ever ran out and it was topped up or replace almost immediately. Lunch was a snack, but the fajitas went down well with the boys and we totally loved the dinners and looked forward to the menus coming out. The crab and coconut soup was a particular hightlight. We loved the fresh seaford.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we were very well looked after by everyone there. Thank you.
We loved the beach and had some good chats with the Masais and others and the boys played football. It was also fascinating to see the beach being used by locals to collect seaweed when the tide was out.
We went snorkeling to Mnemba island which was well worth it and even got to swim with dolphins.
All in all a wonderful relaxing place and a wonderful holiday and we hope to be back!

This hotel is what the name says, a paradise. A quiet location, one hour from stonetown. The pools are clean and nice, all rooms have a private outdoor space, there is acces to the beach, where the sand is kept clean from seaweed and the guards make sure the local sales people do not bother you with their merchandise (unless you want to buy something ofcourse). The bar lounge and restaurant look great, the service is fantastic and so is the food. Staff ie very very friendly and wanting to accommodate you. The rooms are spacious, the beds good. We were there and still the occupation after corona was low. When in full swing I can imagine the rooms next to the pool can be less quiet, so make sure you book the rooms that fit what you are looking for! Reception service is also great, a late check out was possible at no charge. Highly appreciated! One small tip, after a stay of 5 days, change the playlist in the restaurant some more ;-)

We stayed for a week at this hotel after a week of safari. Fantastic family like atmosphere with great service and great food! Great breakfast buffe and a 4-course dinner that varied every day. If there was something you wanted to change they fixed it. Standard rooms are a bit small but on the other hand you had a little veranda outside. The fact that there are several pools on the premises made it feel like you were all alone sometimes, never crowded. Highly recommend this place! We would love to come back.

Beautiful small hotel where you feel just great. Everything is taken care off. I enjoyed being on a quieter beach and having the pool when the tide is low. Absolutely best was breakfast until 11h and the avocado poached egg toast. No buffet, you are served with a smile for all meals. Diner was fabulous but I didn’t like the deserts (too much cream). Family room is composed from two separate rooms offering privacy. Any small problem in the rooms was solved very quickly. I highly recommend this hotel!

A great choice for a wonderful peaceful holiday. You can really rest here, but it is also a great base for exploring the island. You can also rent a house chauffeur. The rooms are gorgeous, big, clean with all the comfort we needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is exquisite, fresh, delicious, with four servings available. In a beautifully planted resort, with lots of shade, you can play tennis, stroll, swim in the pools and the sea. A cute library is also available. We had a villa Marina with our own pool, two terraces and enough sun beds. The beach in front of the Next Paradise boutique resort is beautiful, with white sand. In the sea you can see beautiful seaweed gardens, if you like, you can spot Zanzibar women working with seaweed. Great choice for a vacation, we will definitely be back again. I loved every moment I was here.

Fantastic hotel and superb location. We stayed in one of the four beach front bungalows and particularly enjoyed the exclusive use of the pool between the rooms in this area of the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable- could be improved with some net curtains or similar in the rooms to allow for privacy during the day and the ability to lie in bed and open the darker curtains. Staff were all helpful, friendly, courteous, and very professional. The food and bar service was very good - lots of fish on the set menu but you did have the opportunity to choose a different option from the main menu. I thought water prices were rather extortionate 5 dollars for 1.5 litre of water and although one complimentary bottle was provided each day in such a hot climate you needed a lot more and prices soon added up over the week. Apart from this little grumble an exceptional hotel and a very enjoyable stay.

From check-in to check-out we enjoyed every minute of our stay at this property. As soon as we arrived, we felt the relaxing atmosphere of this resort and everything went flawless... Grounds are well maintained and the staff is very friendly, whole time trying to please you. We really enjoyed the food, which was one of the best we had on our trip to Tazania! Resort offers a la carte breakfast and served dinner and during the day there is an extensive menu of well selected snacks and dishes. All this can be also delivered to your room, which we think was great for lunch, as children were in swimsuits on the beach.
We lived in Villa Marina that was great. Rooms were big and very clean. The view over the pool towards the white sand beach and the sea is the wow factor. As villa has its own private pool our children have really enjoyed a lot in the time of low tide, while parents relaxed with cold drinks served on sunbeds next to the pool or on a white sand beach.
We would highly recommend this resort and will for sure return when on Zanzibar!

The hotel is a real paradise. right at the beach, when it is low tide you can swim in the pool. the staff is nice, helpful. Chef Ibrahim is excellent! The daily menu as part of the half-board service is an experience of color, taste and a display of seafood. I'd love to be back

The Next Paradise Boutique Resort is truly a hidden gem, so quiet and peaceful just what you want after being on safari!
We stayed in a ground floor ocean front room. The room was very spacious with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom, separate dressing room and a very well-furnished veranda.
The food was excellent, breakfast was plentiful to say the least, and the evening dinner was delicious, all four courses!
Staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they were always smiling, which is nice to see!
The only little piece of advice I would give is make sure you put insect repellent on in the evening when you go for dinner.

we work together with different dive centers they all go diving to Mnemba, where the best dive sites on Zanzibar are. They all arrange pick up for you and you can get all information at the reception of the hotel.
