We rented cottage #2. It was clean, had everything we needed in terms of being able to cook. The barbeque and appliances were in top working condition. It was super clean, as was our washroom. The yard area was well maintained and landscaped. This was a great weekend at a great spot.

What a relaxing time we had. We travelled with 4 couples and a total of 3 kids. We stayed in Cabin 10 which is the biggest of the cabins and the one facing the lake.
It is a 2 story with a walk out basement. It looks like they are still doing minor renovations to the basement portion because much of the rim and mouldings are missing but who cares. The rest of the cabin was amazing with vaulted ceilings and loft bed rooms. Well worth the money.
This cabin had 4 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms with a kitchen open concept.
There was also a living room in the basement with a big screen TV and Satellite TV.
All in all the trip was amazing and so was the cabin. We have booked for next year again and we will be back.
Now this wouldn't be a review without pointing out a few small things that you will need to know.
-The showers were good but they needed to be redone to get rid of a few cracks and globs of silicone.
- No toilet paper was provided but our group brought their own.
- Towels were limited.
- Kitchen, pots and pans and utensils were old and worn out so be prepared. ( bring your own Can Opener )
- With sleeping for around 20 there is only 1 fridge and pantry so plan for that.
- Free fire wood to slip but 1 small axe and all the logs to split were huge.
- The water is filtered and chlorinated lake water which actually stopped working for a few hours one day. It was fixed with no further problems. We drank and used the water all weekend with no ill effects.
- BBQ is natural gas and new.
- Beds and bedding are relatively new.
- New living room furniture upstairs.
- Old furniture in living room downstairs.
- Big screen downstairs works but poor picture.
- No Cell Phone Service.
- Not sure about internet service but I doubt it.
- Patio furniture is provided but you still may want to use your own.
- This is a family run group of cabins and for all they have they are pretty well maintained.

In closing, No major complaints. Like I said earlier we will be back next year. These cabins are booked far in advance so if you would like to stay here put yourself on the waiting list and book soon.

Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. Stayed in Cabin #2, a non-modern. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The beds were also comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I was at Chitek Lake for a family reunion. My family members also rented 4 other units and were happy. Perfect place for a reunion. Nice court yard with fire pits and plenty of space for games, sitting in a large group, etc.

Tips:
- don't bring lawn chairs because each cabin is equipped with 4 plastic chairs. There is also a big picnic table on the deck.
- Cabin #2 never got direct sun on the deck so it was very comfortable all day. Good thing b/c we had a baby
- the owners supplied a large rotating fan
- cabin #2 needs a can opener and a new frying pan to put on the bbq (cast iron would be nice)
- washrooms are very clean. The paper towel kept jamming so a new dispenser would be nice
- only complaint was the ladies shower - needs a new shower head and tap. The tap seemed loose so wasn't sure if it needed to be turned, rotated around or what? Minor, cheap fix would be nice.
- family rented a pontoon boat for the day and got their money out of it. Nice and clean
- office supplies a map of water depths and where rocks are, etc.
- we rented a dock for $10 day. Was nice b/c then the boat was within a 1 minute walk
- beach is nice, water is clean
- 3 nights was $212 and I think that is very reasonable for SK lake cabins.
- not much luck fishing, might've been too hot.
- General store in the village has EVERYTHING and is reasonably priced.

- very relaxing lake. If you like northern lakes but hate crowds, etc this is a perfect place

Stayed in Cabin 8, for three nights, and on the second day, there was no water at all. We were stuck without running water from 12pm to 6pm. Lise the owner did nothing about this except laugh and said go and bail water out of the lake ourselves. Every guest was to do this, including an 85 year old grandmother. She made no effort to accomodate us, with providing a bucket at least to dangerously bail water out of a very rough lake. The winds that day were 80km/hr and raining. Our neighbours in cabin 9 were not impressed neither. We will never be back. Unprofessional service and no apology at all for the inconvience. Apparently the problem could have been resolved quickly, but Lise had to wait for her son to get out of volleyball and school around 6pm. We were told we had to wait for the wind to die down. Liar. There was no discount on the bill for the day. Its full price all the time no matter what. Disgraceful.

Family of nine of us rented four cabins for a week and had a very good holiday with the owners providing us with everything we needed. The accommodations were excellent and the fishing above par with catches of walleye and pike on a daily basis.

Water rentals and dock facilities were in new condition and Lise went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed before venturing out on the lake.

Will book again when needed as this place is one stop shopping for a summer break.

I went with a bunch of buddies to fish and quad. Found great trails with mud and did some fishing. We rented #3,4 and 8 as per the owner's suggestion. It was perfect for our group. We rented a stall for our boats and rode our quads right from our cabins. We booked again for next year, only longer. Can't wait to go back. The owners were helpful with giving us maps and explaining where to quad and fish. I plan to bring the wife and kids this summer. It's clean and we'll kept

We have been returning to Little Pine Lodge ever year for 4 years and will continue to make it an annual vacation. Every year we experience friendly and accommodating service from the owner as well as exceptionally clean cabins. There are a total of 10 cabins at Little Pine and every year we try to stay in a different one. All four of the cabins we have currently stayed in have been beautiful. Little pine lodge is also a lake front property making it an ideal location for all guests who enjoy fishing, swimming, and boating.

Its a great place for a family vacation at the lake!!

Myself and a few of my friends stayed at Little Pine Lodge this past June. We stayed in cabin #9 for 1 week. The weather was great and the place was beautiful. The cabin was very cozy and clean. New appliances and updated bathroom. The beds were also very comfortable. During our stay we rented a pontoon boat and had a blast. We also did some quadding, the trails were great. Owners were very accommodating during our stay. Very affordable, stayed for 7 nights so payed for 6 and got 1 free. I will definitely be bringing my family, great for all ages. Booked again for this coming august.
