Due to a glitch in the resort's system, our family room was unavailable for the night and we were upgraded to 2 premium rooms which had a balcony overlooking the resorts pools and bar. These two rooms were nice - excellent view. However, the next day we were moved into room 216 our originally booked family room. We noticed immediately the musky smell of the room. The family rooms are spacious: one main room with 2 double beds and a connecting room with king bed. The room with the king bed is very dark, no other ventilation but the air con. Skirting boards also in bad shape. Holes and stains from the water on aircon also. This leads me to the biggest issue and the reason for my request to change. Both my daughter and I were raided by mosquitos in this room. I found myself spending a lot of time killing them. Showers are large, pressure of the water could be stronger, but you can still take a decent shower in them. I saw room 217 being cleaned the next day. After a quick inspection, I asked to be transferred which the staff helped with. Rooms equipped with open wardrobe, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and a 2nd bathroom (in family room) Room 217 had a dehumidifier which helped with the smell. All rooms come with basic toiletries - toothbrushes, bathgel, soap, showercaps, shampoo.

Buffet breakfast is pretty basic. Omlette station, waffle station, cereals, 4 to 5 hot food items to go with rice/toast, condiments, congee, soup, fruits. It would be nicer to see them replenish much quicker especially when hotel is at full capacity. Food is good enough to get you through the day.

Best thing I can say about this place is the customer service. The staff were very helpful. From front desk to the concierge. Pools were also nice, but my daughter got some scrathes from the little pool. We met some kids from Melbourne who had also experienced the same, but mentioned it had caused them to bleed. So this is something that needs to be addressed.

I would still recommend this hotel. Service was good and so were half the rooms we stayed in. The size of the rooms are pretty good. Location is only about 7 mins away from town proper via tricycle. Close enough to get to quickly and far enough from the hustle and bustle

Coron gets busy during the holiday season and the really good resorts book quickly. They also cost more and since we were traveling with extended family, a compromise had to be made. This place was the compomise.

We stayed in a family room, 214, for 5 days. It's very spacious with 2 queen beds in the main area, a separate bedroom with a king bed and 2 full bathrooms. No private balcony or a view as there was only 1 window in the whole room and it looked out to the courtyard leaving the bedroom very dark and feeling like a prison. No access from the bedroom to the bathroom and neither shower door closed completely. In fact, the gap in shower door in the small bathroom was so large that it left a pool of water on the floor everyday. We informed the staff (as I'm sure others before us have), but nothing was ever done in the 5 days we were there. The staff was friendly enough but do not go the extra mile. Communication was also a hit or miss even for the Tagalog speakers in our party. Not sure if they just didn't know the answer to the question, but we were given the wrong information 3 times. Free WiFi is available in the lobby. Otherwise, it's P1000 per day, per device. None of us paid. Breakfast is supposed to start at 6:30am. Nope! More like 6:50am coz the rice isn't cooked. The food both at breakfast and other times was ok, but the service was very slow and the staff not very knowledgeable. Food is also available at the bar which closes promptly at 11pm even on a Friday and Saturday night.

The spa has 2 massage rooms, each with 2 tables and an A/C wall unit. Outside of the rooms was very warm. So warm that there are staff members laying on the tile floor outside of the massage rooms and behind the desk. Service was good, prices were fantastic.

The pools are very pretty to looks at, but are in desparate need of repair and cleaning. The filters were not working the entire time we were there, and my nephew cut his foot on a broken tile at the bottom of the pool. Don't even bother going in their "fitness center". Those machines haven't been used or serviced since they went in.

There's a sign in the bathrooms that the water from the tap is not potable. I wouldn't anyhow. Bottled water is free and replenished daily in your room. Outside of your room, it'll cost you which is stupid, IMO.

We book 3 family rooms with terrace and 1 deluxe room as we are 13 pax. Rooms were big , clean, with basic amenities. Aircon has sufficient cooling power. Breakfast was good , has many choices and they change the menu everyday so we are satisfied. 3 pools provide warm water so we are happy about it.
Staffs are friendly and ready to assist you in anyway they
could.
The only downside is no wifi at your room, you have to pay 100 for one day if you want to connect with social media. Or you have no choice but to stay at the lobby for free wifi .

We booked here for 4 days to finish off our holiday throughout the Philippines, we only lasted one night and burned on the rest of the non refundable nights we paid for.

Firstly, as we should have known from the previous reviews the room had a foul smell on arrival. It was practically unbearable and we advised reception where they showed us another room and it had the same smell. We asked for an air humidifier after leaving our doors and windows open to no avail. On 3 occasions of asking they still never told us that it wouldn't be available until tomorrow and also offered no apology.

Two pools downstairs were half empty, they saw no problem with this and said it's open, but the hot weather has evaporated it.

They do only operate one elevator as pointed out in other reviews.

The bathroom had dirty mould and silicone. The ceramic shelf in the shower is almost falling off which is actually quite dangerous.

Housekeepings room is right next door to which we heard loud conversations and banging etc.

They also knocked on our door to male up the room at 8:30am.

Pool towels aren't to be taken out on tours and we learnt this by trying this not knowing of their policy, and by being asked to present ourselves to the front counter. We were made out to be theiving and told it's 100p per towel to take out. We asked if we could rent this towel and return at the end of the stay and they said no. It would be 100p per towel per day. Extremely flawed and stupid policy.

There is limited and slow free WiFi only in the lobby and no cellphone service in the rooms.

However in general after bringing some things to their attention and being visibly unhappy with our experience as far, they made no attempts to resolve anything and the front desk lady who I assume is the manager was smug about the entire early checkout process and offered absolutely no apology.

It is an absolute rarity for myself to put a negative review as I believe good service is enough to male the experience positive, but we we're so disappointed by the stay that an honest review of this resort was needed.

We stayed 2 nights at the Coron resort. The establishmenbt was very nice, rooms large, hot water worked well. However, room water not potable and hotel only provides 1 8oz bottle of water per day per guest then charges 1 dollar for each additional. Checkin was very long and laborious. Restaruants - food was mediocre at best. Service was terrible. All our meals came out at different times. Water served at end along with cutlery. Better organization needed in restaurants and in Check-in, check-out. And they should not charge for water when you cannot drink it in your room. Otherwise very nice experience. Staff is very young and seems to lack proper management.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this resort last March 2023, and we were very satisfied during our stay. After booking one of their deluxe room for two nights only, I've decided to book one night extension just so we could experience one of their premium rooms also. It was his first time flying to Coron because I've been here ever since for work purposes. Upon check-in, I was informed that we were upgraded to their premium room and that made us both so happy! I didn't ask for it, but they were so kind to give us the upgrade. The room was super nice and spacious. I loved the view of the sunset from our balcony! They even granted one of my request to put a slice of chocolate cake in the room because my boyfriend didn't get the chance to celebrate his birthday a few months ago. Staff were busy in the morning. Housekeeping also cleaned our room well and refilled everything from bottled water to bathroom amenities and towels. The location was convenient for us as it's along the main road, and we got ourselves a car rental during our stay so we can go out and come back anytime we want. Their swimming pool is huge! I don't know, but it felt huge because we were running and swimming from one pool to another like kids during our second night at the resort :D.
What caught my boyfriend's attention was the Cockatoo by the entrance. We'd always stop by to say hello to the little fella. Overall it was a nice experience for us. See you next time!

The first day we arrived we had lunch. The worst spaghetti ever and fish that was way over cooked! The breakfast buffet kept getting worse everyday. They don’t keep up with the items offered and have minimal items provided. The omelette station doesn’t know the difference between scrambled, omelette or over easy eggs.

We went in January 2020. The three pools were dirty, with a green cape on the stairs, one of them had murky water. In the room there was a bad smell constantly and it was very dark (since we booked the deluxe room). Internet have only in the lobby, if you want internet in your room you must pay extra. The hotel staff was very friendly, the place has good infrastructure, but it lacks maintenance.

Nice property, but a bit dated. The place is lovely, has a good size pool, pool bar and a restaurant. The reception staff was nice. The rooms a very big and I will strongly recommend to book a room facing the pool. The room which are facing the back have unpleasant smell.
The hotel is 10 min tricycle ride to Coron centre where the port is and where you can find some local shops. Tricycles are always available when you ask at the reception. There is not much to see in Coron , it will only take you 20 min to go around.
Be careful with the ice in your drinks at the pool bar as two people from our party become very sick with diarrhoea .We reckoned that is from the ice because only they had cocktails in the evening and they became sick. Otherwise we all ate and drink the same during the day.
The spa is amazing. We had the best massage in the hotel spa. He did 3 massages in Philippines in different places and said this one was so far the best.

First off, the location is terrible. It is so far outside of town and away from the ocean that I can't really understand why they even built a hotel here. Yes, you can easily catch a trike to town but the transportation back and forth adds up, but you might as well stay in town! (We ended up staying in Coron town and liked it soooo much better).

The property and pool are nice looking, but once you are there you realize they haven't really been taken care of properly. The rooms are spacious and clean and are honestly the best thing about the hotel but who spends that much time in their room? Food was mediocre at best. I don't really care about the internet while traveling, but the internet only worked in the lobby unless you paid extra... it was hilarious to see the lobby overflowing with people every morning and evening and nobody talking to each other.

The service was terrible. It seemed that everyone who worked there hated it and that anything you needed was a huge deal from their perspective. On top of this, everything little thing costs extra.

It's fine, but I would not stay there again!
