Another enjoyable stay at the campground. Jerry is a great host, washrooms are spotless and the sites are very good. Decent playground for our granddaughter. Yes there is some traffic noise, but definitely bearable. At $32 with power, very good value.

We stayed for 3 nights in May 2020. Covid restrictions during that time limits our experience somewhat as it wasn't what it would normally would be at the campground.

We stayed for 3 nights during the week and got the 3rd night free which was a nice surprise. Power sites were $32 a night. Because of covid no one could be on either side of us so we were lucky enough to have a very large grassy area all to ourselves.

The campground is right in town so there are several people walking by and vehicle noise from the streets beside but it wasn't too bad. There are trees and shrubs throughout the entire campground so it does seem private enough.

There is a nice playground but it was closed. Large grassy area in front of the playground to play ball or whatever. The washrooms were also closed at the time.

Wood was $8 a bundle.

We enjoyed this little get away and the fact that we had the campground pretty much to ourselves. Under normal conditions I think the site we were in would be very congested. There are other pull through sites that are more private and lots of joined shared sites that are great for camping with friends.

We came across this campsite accidently and we couldn't be more happy. very friendly and clean. The bathrooms blew my mind. Yes highway traffic noise however it didn't affect us or our stay one bit. Our tenting area was clean and quiet. Our short 2 night stay couldn't of been more perfect. This is definitely our new home away from Home.

I stayed for 6 nights and will not be back. The campground has heavy traffic on 3 sides so was very noisy. Large trucks all day ( the garbage truck comes at 7:00 am) and then loud residential traffic in the evenings. I found the hosts to be rude and they even lied to me when I was leaving. They rushed me out of my site by telling me that there was someone waiting for the spot, but after I left I went back to have lunch with the people I was camping with and was there until after 2:00 pm and no one moved into the spot I left. The only good thing I can say is that the bathrooms and showers are large, warm and very clean.

We are staying for the season. Sites are reasonable in size and have a reasonable amount of privacy. Most sites are surrounded by trees and shrubs. Bathrooms are clean. All sites have power. Water is available, two locations in the park. Just fill your rv upon arriving. Sewer dump is close by, $5 to dump or arrange a sewer pickup. Monthly rate available

We are staying at the Anthony Henday campground for the spring and summer!

The team that is caring for the premises is exceptional! Electricity and water are available on site. Sewer pump outs are available too.

Close to excellent shopping only 10 minutes away.

Bonus! There is wildlife too: deer, fox porcupines.

Great playgrounds for kids.

Large showers bathrooms and city water on site.

Big private sites with fire pits and very well priced. Nice and quiet at night.

Best kept secret in the area between Calgary and Red Deer.

Come try the campground!

We stayed here for 4 nights recently. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the whole campground. The washrooms were always clean, there is a huge shower room with hooks, bench and large counter top. The price is very reasonable, I believe $27 for powered site.

A treat to see children playing. The camp hosts make a fun, safe and clean environment for the kids and families. The kids are free to make water balloons but are kindly encouraged to clean up any debris, even rewarding the kids with freezies when they are done cleaning.
It is a real treat to have clean bathroom facilities. If any mess is encountered, the camp hosts are quick to clean it up. Small shampoo and soap is available if you forget to being your own. The showers can get busy so it would be nice to see all three showers working in the ladies room. Sorry, don't know about the men's room 😉
Worth going back and if you want a particular camp site book ahead. Weekends fill up quickly
