For such a remote and small community it was a pleasant surprise to have the amenities of a small kitchen and dining area. It even has a jacuzzi bathtub. There is a four hole golf course right next to the hotel.

2 story hotel with good size clean rooms and a few suites (with kitchen, separate bedroom and living room with pull out couch). The regular rooms are a good size and bathrooms are average size with tub/shower. The wifi connection is good and there is satellite tv. In the suites, you have to move the satellite box from the living room to the bedroom if you want to watch tv in the bedroom. There isn't 24 hour reception so check your room and whatever you intend to use before staff go.

There is a restaurant serving 3 meals a day but it closes early. It has a good selection of meal options. A small bar is also next to the restaurant. The hotel isn't right in town so it's a good walk or a short taxi/drive to the grocery store, bank, other restaurants. The legion is next door (with a bar). It's closer to the aiport than town.

The Heritage hotel is nice and warm in winter - the guest controls the temperature in the room. The rooms are well kept and very clean.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I have always found it to be a good experience.

The restaurant is very good and the prices, I found to be very reasonable. The chef is very accommodating.

I stay here a couple of times every year and it is the best accommodations in Norman Wells. The rooms are a good size and clean. It is the newest accommodation and is substantially above anything else available. There is a restaurant and lounge on site and both quite good. This may not rate as 4 star if comparing to hotels in a large city however in Norman Wells it is 5 star plus!

Having travelled throughout the north, this hotel was a very nice surprised. Relatively new and very clean, large rooms. Very expensive, but that's just the way it is up here! Have stayed here 4 times in the last year. Highly recommend if you need to stay in Norman Wells.

I did not stay else where but this place was a pleasant surprise. Newer and clean, restaurant was not normal set up but service was good. Best to avoid the shrimp cocktail.
Epect to pay lots. 2 rooms, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners = $800.00

I've had to stay in Norman Wells, NT twice now for business. Both stays have been at the Heritage Hotel. This hotel is fairly new construction and better than most typical hotels in the North. Rooms feature Shaw Direct satellite and are very clean. There is a restaraunt located in the hotel with a complimentary continental breakfast. Both lunch and supper were excellent.
Be warned, this is the North. The town is isolated and you will pay much more than you ever expected.
The food is great, rooms are clean, staff are friendly. I would stay here again in Norman Wells

Comfortable rooms, pleasant common areas, convenient location close to attractions. The comfort and modern vibe of this hotel was unexpected, given its location in a small northern town. The restaurant staff, service and food quality were beyond outstanding. These people went way beyond expectations for our group. Loved staying there.
I would have given them 5 stars but for the unwelcoming and perfunctory (almost rude) check-in clerk. Maybe she was just having a bad day. I know it's hard to find reliable staff in small northern communities.

Stayed one night at the end of a 2-week canoe trip. Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Bathroom was in excellent condition with toiletries, fluffy towels, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Plenty of hot water. Bar & restaurant were welcoming and we enjoyed a hearty dinner (group of 10) and breakfast (smaller group). The staff permitted us to use the washer and dryer at no extra charge....a real plus. Given the location beyond the end of the summer road and the quality of service, this place is expensive. Call or contact them for current rates. Be prepared for occasional power outages (they told us they are on wind turbines). WiFi wasn't reliable.

I spent 3 weeks here along with my staff. While there I saw the other hotel accommodation in town and there is nothing even close to comparable.
Even though very expensive ( as everything is in the area) it is great. Excellent mattresses, Eco friendly great toiletries, lots of cable channels, excellent housekeeping, and very spacious. I had a suite which was very large with a living room, dining area, full equipped kitchen ( no oven), jacuzzi , 2 televisions ( have to move cable box ) excellent view.

The food in the restaurant is fabulous.
