Just returned from eleven nights at Pefkos Village Resort which was our first time in this hotel although we have visited Pefkos many times. This hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from the resort centre in a quiet area and close to a couple of beaches. We stayed in a studio apartment above the bar and restaurant area, room 125 on a b&b basis. The room and balcony were a decent size although the furniture and bathroom fittings were a bit dated although it did come with good air conditioning. The only negative from the room perspective was the housekeeping, the cleaning could have been improved a little.
The bar and restaurant were very good and we used them frequently, we also ate a few meals in the restaurant in the evening, the menu offered and quality of the food were as good as any of the town’s establishments. The pool area was a little small but we did manage to get sun beds whenever we wanted but like many hotels some were booked early morning by the usual sad individuals who were in the main English.
The hotel grounds were beautifully kept with lovely planting and mature trees.
Taking in to account all my comments, I would definitely return to this hotel and the main reason for this was the excellent staff who were extremely efficient, friendly and courteous. Let me mention a few, (apologies firstly for the spelling), in the restaurant, Tina who never got flustered and was always smiling. In the restaurant and bar Vasileos, Rakib and Costas who were always attentive and very knowledgeable. Finally, a special mention for Anbela in the reception who really went out of her way to be welcoming and helpful from the moment we checked in. She took the time to give us a guided tour of the other types of accommodation available as we intend returning next year. She is an excellent ambassador for the hotel.

Complex clean, well maintained with large pool and plenty of beds. 1bed apartment large and spacious with a double bed!, good kitchen but never used it and lounge with tv that maybe could be a little bigger and sound is locked no higher than 35. Bathroom has bath and shower cubicle. Apartment is clean, well maintained and no bugs. During week stay maid came in everyday and changed towels twice. There is a bar with small shop area with drinks and goods at a reasonable price. Snack bar in the day serves pizza, hot dog , club sandwich ( highly recommend), burgers, smoothies etc all for under €10. At night the restaurant takes over from snack bar and you can have a good meal with good size portions for two with drinks for 30 to 50 euros, the meals are cooked fresh as you watch. We ate here 5 of the 7 days and the meals were very tasty.
If you cannot get a late check out then there is a wc block near to the pool which at one end has a laundry room with washer and ironing board and the other end has a good hot shower. The staff at all times were polite and helpful.
This is our second time to Pefkos and if we cone again we will stay here as I cannot fault in any way.

Had a fabulous holiday here. The pool area is lovely. The food in the bar/restaurant was nice, there was something for everyone. The breakfast was ok. Lots of fresh fruit. There was cereal, a hot breakfast and a lovely man making pancakes. We didn't like the hot breakfast but we are fussy and most other guests were eating it!
There was 4 of us booked for our room and plenty of space. A king size bed in the bedroom and 2 single beds in the sit room as well as a sofa. The room was cleaned daily and the woman cleaning was lovely. If you didn't want your room cleaned, fresh towels and bed sheets would be dropped to your apartment. The patio area was big too.
It is a 15/20 minute walk into the main strip which we didn't mind doing a couple of times but did get a good few taxis which cost between 6 and 10 euro depending which taxi driver you get! There is a lovely small beach 5 minutes walk down the road from the hotel. If we were returning to Pefkos this is definitely where we would go. We had family members visit us here who paid similar prices for other places and all said ours was the best!

Have just returned from 2 weeks at this resort & can confirm the already good reports. We had a studio apartment which was above the bar. Bit worried about noise initially but we closed the sliding patio door & never heard a thing. Good sized room with small kitchen & good sized balcony. Very clean & that is throughout the whole hotel area. The pool is well maintained & as a swimmer I am fussy. The breakfasts were very good. The chef really took pride in her displays each morning & her husband provided the egg service. You could have an omelette freshly prepared & he made pancakes. Fresh fruit always available & the Greek yoghurt was delicious. Some days we stayed by the pool & ate here for lunch & the meals were very good & good value compared with the main town. If you have an evening meal you get a different menu to the people staying half board. One night we just sampled different starters & they were amazing. Would highly recommend you try them. The location is a 15 min walk to the main town & you do have to walk up a couple of hills but you do leave the noise behind you when you walk back which we preferred. You are also closer to the nicer beach - Kavos. Only 20 sun beds at €14 but the restaurant at the top of the slope, Amfialos, provides a beach service to your sun bed & you get 2 bottles of water with the fee. The main Lee beach sun beds week 1 were €15 & week 2 ( more appeared) were €20. The staff can’t do enough for you particularly the breakfast boys who are adorable. There is also a small shop on site so you don’t have to carry your water home - cheaper than the smaller supermarkets nearby as stocked by the ABC large supermarket in town which is part of the same hotel group. There are really no negatives. Enjoy!

Really nice place if you want a more relaxed hotel, not very loud. Hotel reception are very friendly and will go the extra mile to help you with advice and booking taxi’s and activities .
15-20minute walk to pefkos main strip and 10minutes to the bus stop so if you are not looking to walk and explore maybe not as suited. Perfect location to get into Lindos about 10-15euro taxi or the bus is only a couple of euros and takes about 15mins. Definitely worth going into Lindos and visiting st pauls bay and some of the rooftop restaurants and bars.
The breakfast is standard very similar to most hotels. And the lunch menu is really nice and high quality (did not eat there for dinner)
The room is standard nothing special but the aircon works well and has a mini kitchen and fridge freezer which helps.

Kavos beach is a must, (5minute walk) very small has only a few sun beds so feels like a private beach (14euro for 2sunbeds which includes 2 waters) can order food from the restaurant and they deliver it to you. Beach is very still and clear blue waters.

Overall, perfect place for couples and families that are willing to walk and want to explore outside of the hotel, that want a more apartment/villa style feel to the hotel

Definitely won’t be disappointed

Location of this hotel is good Kavos beach is just a short walk away (3-5) mins max, the beach is beautiful and very quiet. You are also around 10-15 minutes walk away from the main centre of Pefkos.

There is plenty of choice for breakfast and the gentleman who cooks the eggs is very friendly and happy to help.

However, we won’t be staying here again as the hotel itself is very tired and all communal areas need a refurb. The communal areas are not clean and full of ants. The ants were even on the dining tables and bar area, because of this we never ordered food even though food looked nicely presented.

Grounds to the hotel are not loved and needed weeding etc. again ants were everywhere.

The Complimentary shower room you can use on your final day is also filthy!

On a positive the rooms were spotlessly clean, beds very, comfy, linen and towels regularly changed.

The receptionist who works during the day until 4, deserves recognition, she is so friendly and helpful a real credit to the front of house team.

Dear Midlandsadvisor Further to your review we would like to address some of the issues that you have raised. We feel we must vehemently deny your implication that the grounds are not tended to or looked after. We have a full time maintenance and gardening team at the Hotel who work tirelessly throughout the summer to ensure that the grounds are immaculately maintained - which they are. Recent pictures posted by our guests on this very platform are testiment to the hard work that goes in to tending to and maintaining the Hotel grounds. With regards to ants, unfortunately we are unable to control insects that live outside in their natural habitat, nor do we wish to place pesticides or other harmful substances around the hotel that could damage the ecology of the area. During the very hot summer months, ants will naturally be attracted to food sources or water, this is no different in the UK or any other County. If crumbs or drinks are spilled on floors in our open plan snack bar or reception areas, then of course ants may be attracted to this. However, we are mindful of this and tend to spillages are quickly as possible and ensure that floors are regularly swept - specifically to avoid this issue. The fact that your room was "spotless" and ant free is testament to our high level of cleaning standards. We will pass on your kind words to our reception staff who work very hard to ensure our guests have a happy and restful stay with us. Regards Vasilis Pallas

Our 3rd stay here, great little place just out of the main resort but only 5 minutes by taxi which is around €7 Lindos around €13.50, the hotel is very clean and the grounds are kept really well, the pool is fantastic with plenty of sunbeds and the bar/restaurant serves good food during the day and evening, all the staff are so nice, really friendly and very efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The one bedroom apartments are very spacious with a bath and over bath shower, air conditioning in both the kitchen and bedroom which work really well is included in the price and for an extra charge there is a safe. Really big balcony with a clothes horse to dry your washing, and the rooms were cleaned daily which is a bonus. Great little place, would highly recommend. Emma

Just returned from Pefkos Village Resort. Had a great holiday, there. The room we were given was larger than expected, had a good sized bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. It was also cleaned frequently. It was a little closer to the bar and reception area than we would have liked, but as it turned out, the noise from those areas was minimal. The buffet breakfast was okay, pretty standard in my experience. The hotel is well maintained, has a nice pool, and the staff are friendly and approachable. One word of warning - the hotel has a luggage scale which showed our cases as around 2kg lower than they actually were ( it also costs one euro a go). Fortunately for us, our bags were just under our weight allowance when we got to the airport. Also, some of the reviews mention that the hotel is quite a long way to walk to Pefkos. We didn’t find the walk too long , and did it daily . We thought the location was a bonus, as it gives the hotel a quieter setting, providing you like that sort of thing. Very good chance we will return.

We have just returned from a week in Pefkos Village and enjoyed a relaxing holiday. Since our last visit 4 years ago, there had been a few staff changes but also a few that we had met previously, all of which welcomed us and provided excellent service. We chose the half board option and although we only visited the restaurant on 2 evenings, the quality of food and service was excellent. The new addition of the cooked to order omelettes and eggs at breakfast was a great addition to the great selection of buffet hot and cold food and fresh fruit. The hotel was very busy but there was still plenty of choice and availability during breakfast service. The ladies that cleaned our room every day left it really clean and even returned later on when we were still in our rooms and when requested and the air con was a great bonus. The girls on reception were always helpful and even called a local restaurant to make a booking. There were always sunbeds available round the pool area which was also kept clean and tidy. Thanks to all the staff in making our second visit so enjoyable and relaxing. We hope to see you all again soon

Spacious room, comfy beds, friendly staff, fab food, relaxing pool, chilled environment. Great location and experience. 20 min downhill walk to main streets with bars, restaurants and shops. Touristy gifts and essentials only. You would need to go to Rhodes if you wanted to buy clothes. Small bay/ beach 2 mins away where you can walk out quite a way before sea gets too deep. Calm clear, blue water. Good for not so confident swimmers. The room I was in could do with a little refresh of fittings, but very useable, convenient and comfy. Bring or buy all your own toiletries/ kitchen things like washing up liquid. Small supermarket not far and on site snack/ essentials shop if you forget anything. Felt very at home here. Local cats roam freely, but do not pester you.
