We stayed here for one week from end of May - June. The hotel is situated in Platios Galios, literally 2 minutes from the beach front, which has a range of great reastaurants
From arrival the hotel outdone our expectations. We arrived and the ladies on reception took time to explain the local area to us, recommending reastraunts, bars and places to visit. They told us how to get about the island on buses taxis and some other key information. We then got to our room, which was simply stunning. A sea view room over looking the terrace. The view was unbelievable.
The hotel was immaculate with the best views looking out over the sea, onto the yachts and Psarrou beach (Where Nammos is).
There are plenty of sunbeds, cabannas and day beds around the pool which are all free of charge and they have their own private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge. Lots of hotels on the beach do not offer this so this hotel was perfect to chill and relax around the pool or on the private beach.
Breakfast was 5 star with lots of options and catering for all needs. We didn't eat in the reastraunt in the night but had snacks and food in the day, which was always great. A great range of cocktails and drinks for a reasonable price. The service was outstanding and they literally couldn't do enough for you. A big mention to Jenny who was very attentive.
Whilst there it was my birthday, the staff arranged for a cake and a bottle of prosecco to be brought out at breakfast, which was a lovely surprise.
The hotel was very Covid safe with all staff wearing masks and enhanced cleaning of all areas. The hotel is in a great location, a 2 minute walk to Platios Galios beach and a 5 minute walk to Psarrou (down a little rocky path).
There is a bus stop outside the hotel for Mykonos town or you can get taxis, which the hotel staff can organise for you.
There is a gym and spa here too.
Overall this was a fantastic hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recomend for couples or groups of people.

Nice seaside hotel. Was interesting to see the giant yachts moored transient just off shoe. Room was nice we had a restricted view. Front office staff very good. Housekeeping attentive obviously using powerful germicides as they could be smelled in the rooms and passageways Right at the bus stop for Platis and adjacent to a great bakery and convenience store. All of the restaurants a few steps away. Good breakfast though we were the only ones besides the staff that had masks on. Hotel we had been at earlier in trip had rigid breakfast buffet standard comparatively Staff was being extremely careful and attentive

I spent 4 days at this property. It was a good stay but there's nothing special about this hotel. The best part of this hotel is its location. It's a 5 minute walk to the city center (steep steps though!). My room was a bit small but it was clean and was equipped with air conditioning.
There is a shuttle daily to bring guests to the Petasos Beach Resort which is much bigger with way better facilities.
I went there twice to use the fitness center and the pool.
This hotel was quite expensive for its quality but Mykonos is expensive in general.

Incredibly close to the cool beaches...lots of instagram fame seekers which was annoying. The location was great staff was attentive - rooms and showers were smaller than expected and we have been to multiple islands in Greece so smaller than typical. Stay here for the view and for walking to great restaurants.

We visited this hotel many times over the years but have now found that it has lost its charm replaced by a modern’take’ evidently in order to attract a younger partying sector of the market. The hotel is now modern- mostly white decor with uncomfortable sun loungers- boring bedrooms and a breakfast room akin to cheap hotels offering a hurried breakfast for the masses. Really disappointed 😢

Positives. Staff were all great from the front desk to the pool, the restaurants and the beach. The hotel was lovely, clean and modern.
We arrived Saturday lunchtime, unpacked and went to relax at the private beach. The beach was surrounded by luxury yachts a lot more than on the website.
One of the boats was playing music so loud there was no chilling or relaxing possible. This competed with the music playing out of the hotel’s speakers around the pool and beach area. The hotels music was nowhere near as loud but hearing one loud music track was already painful.
At 4/4:30 another loud set of music came through the hotel from Namos the beach bar/ restaurant located nearby. It was too muchso my wife and I went to relax in the room but the bass of the music was loud even in there. So we had to leave for a while.
Our neighbours that night got back at 2:30 am and played loud music. It really was too much for a first day and so disappointing for a hotel we had such high expectations of.
We moved rooms on day 2 which did help a little and shielded us from the worst of the Namos tunes. Although as soon as you left the room there was no avoiding them.
I also had planned to swim in the sea from the private beach but all the luxury yachts had each tethered at least 4 sets of ropes each to the rocks surrounding the beach (some above the water and some below) so you couldn’t comfortably swim anywhere. You could just take a dip to call off.

Petasos was by far one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. When you first walk in you feel like you are entering a whole new world or movie set. It is so clean and minimal. The staff is so friendly. From the front desk, to the restaurant, to the spa, pool, etc. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. This was my first time in Greece ever and I loved every second of it.

Not only was the hotel so welcoming but it was in the PERFECT location! There is such a cute bakery steps away from the entrance as well as pita food stop! (From the bakery make sure to get their chocolate croissants and apple pie! And in the morning they have the best iced lattes with almond milk!)

If you eat at Petasos - be sure to try their split pea dip they give you with bread and the meatballs!! TO DIE FOR. During the day when you are at the pool they have a huge selection of delicious sushi and they also have the most delicious chicken club sandwich. (I think I ordered it like 4 times while I stayed haha)

They also have a beautiful private beach that is once again, steps from the hotel. It truly has everything you could possibly need in one place. It is only about a 10 minutes ATV or scooter drive from the city center as well.

I went at the end of September so the island was very quiet. Depending on the vibe you want you should either go in the summer when it is party city or september when it is still just as beautiful but also peaceful.

All in all this place will forever have my heart and I already am planning to come back and stay in summer 2022 because of how much I loved it. They exceeded all expectations and I felt incredibly safe and at home my entire stay.

Friendly staff, good accommodation and an excellent location makes The Petasos Beach Hotel the perfect place to stay in Mykonos. The buffet breakfast was a wonderful feast but dinner at the VIP Restaurant was a disappointment with an overpriced & small menu. Pool service was also lacking. Apart from that, I highly recommend the hotel.

We have just returned from an amazing trip in Mykonos. This hotel absolutely blew us away. The attention to detail and the extra mile each of the team took to make our stay with a 2 year old seamless and perfect. Inna & the ladies at reception could not do enough. Our 1st room had a private pool and once we arrived we realised it was not the best room with a 2 year old and it was a bad decision on our part. Within a few hours Inna had us moved into a more suitable room for a family with no stress and worry, she arranged all our transfers to beach clubs and dinners for us for the whole trip and even arranged late check out for us without me even needing to ask as she knew it would be needed with a toddler. Stunning service. The attention to detail Vicky and the restaurant/ bar team gave was out of this world. From remembering our coffee order each morning to reserving our favourite table at breakfast and making sure our daughter had everything she needed at all times throughout the day. Miriamthi and Victoria just to name a few looking after us each day with a genuine kindness all day every day, the food the cocktails the service, everything is just world class. A truly wonderful hotel. We can not wait to return. Thank you for everything. Tori x

I don’t believe there is a ‘hotel shuttle’ and our transport was arranged by the travel company, but we did take the local bus between the hotel and the old port, and we used a local taxi to return us to the hotel one night, plus the hotel arranged a transfer for us on request, the transfer was €30 and the taxi was €25 So it can probably be arranged for a nominal fee

We spent our time at the pool but I believe the beach chairs are free. FYI It’s really more of a rocky outcropping covered with sand than a beach.
