The Four Seasons at Ko Olina is a lovely resort up the coast about 45 minutes from Waikiki. And, while you can almost always depend on the quality of Four Seasons’ hotels, what sets this resort apart is the amazing staff led by GM Charlie Parker who obviously sets a very high standard. From check in to check out we never came across a single person who didn’t want to assist in any way he or she could.
In addition to the wonderful staff, the hotel offers great restaurants where we had exceptional (if pricey) meals —- we especially enjoyed Mina’s Fish House and Noe ——reservations are a must.
When we arrived at the Four Seasons we had been in Waikiki for about a month and were in desperate need of haircuts (along with some peace and quiet). We normally resist getting cuts at hotels but they had availability just when we had some spare time so we decided it was kismet. We were glad we did. Jenna is a very talented hairdresser who listens and then executes perfectly — frankly we’d drive up just for a cut.
The resort grounds are beautiful with well stocked koi ponds and perfectly groomed lawns and gardens with numerous waterfalls. Another nice feature is an adults only infinity pool overlooking the ocean and a plethora of interesting areas throughout the hotel to sit and enjoy the gorgeous views.
We were only able to take a 2-day break, but we were glad we did.

I really loved the hotel, room condition view and the amenities. Employees friendliness and professionalism perfect. The towels that you served in the beach. Towel men is great and also the type of the service and towel itself really nice. The only comment and suggestion could be the F&B service that we took last night and the night before you guys are not that experienced of large banquet service, station was lack of needed, we did wait really long lines an time to take a buffet. Type and international group means there is lack of variety of food you served. This international group was coming from around the world and we found no Mediterranean varieties, but I can not say that it is totally bad, still my point can be 3.5 out of 5. Also, the servants should continue giving water just 5 minutes after music shot down because time was just 10PM. Again thank you for the hospitality.

We stayed 4 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was our first trip anywhere in more than a year due to the pandemic. We had an amazing stay and really enjoyed the beach, pools, dining, fitness center and other property amenities. But it was the high level of service that truly made the trip special. Every single employee from the moment we arrived went above and beyond to be helpful, friendly and efficient. A few examples:
E.L. was our server for breakfast at La Hiki. She heard us talking about looking for waterfall hikes and texted her brother, an avid hiker, to get us detailed information about the best choices.
Concierge (I don't recall her name)-there is a critical shortage of rental cars on Oahu currently. The local news even had a story of tourists renting Uhaul vans because they couldn't find cars at other locations. I had looked online for a vehicle so we could take a day trip to North Shore but every location showed "sold out". I stopped by the concierge and she found us a convertible at a reasonable rate that was delivered to the hotel within a couple of hours.
Malia (Noe) and Christopher (Mina's Fish House) were two of our favorite servers. They were incredibly friendly and also knowledgeable about the menus. We loved our small plate dinners at both of these locations. They also knew it was our anniversary and brought out special free desserts to help us celebrate.
Other things we enjoyed:
Late checkout-we had an overnight flight that left at 830pm. The hotel let us use our room until 2pm and then then beach/pool/dining for the rest of the day. They have a very nice "late departure/early arrival" lounge with showers the we used before heading to the airport that evening.
Island Country Market-this little store is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and has snacks, wine/liquor, deli, etc. The food at the hotel is great, but we really enjoyed picking up some wine, poke bowls and other small items to have in our room fridge.

On my birthday, spa staff convinced me to try the "Sensync" and then double my time from what I had originally booked. This new "virtual reality" machine is garbage. I wouldn't use it again if they paid me to. The machine that sits on your head feels as if it weighs 20 pounds, it hurts your nose, and you are guaranteed to leave with intense neck pain and a headache (both my mother and I did). What made the experience worse is that on my birthday I needed to coordinate with my mother for our plans later that day and the staff member assured me she would inform her that I was using the machine for twice the scheduled time so she could make adjustments. The staff NEVER informed my mother, as promised, and our evenings plans fell apart. This Four Seasons trip was ruined because of a device that should not be used on the public without a proper waiver/disclosure, and horrible service from staff. Moreover, there was no evidence that the machine was being sanitized between users (which accounts for the cleanliness score below). Furthermore, this "relaxing" experience is located adjacent to the hairdresser's station so all you hear are conversations from that room, as opposed to "being immersed in an alternate reality". What a joke.

The moment you arrive at Four Seasons, you feel quite special by the way the hotel staff greets you. One can really feel the Aloha Spirit. The hotel is clean and well maintained, it's elegant and modern, the entire staff is friendly, and the service is impeccable! It's what you would expect every time from Four Seasons and nothing less.
Our room was an oceanfront one-bedroom suite facing the northwestern side of the island. The view from room 1412 was gorgeous and mesmerizing! The view of the sunsets from our lanai was just spectacular. The large suite, with its two bathrooms, was convenient and provided ample space for my family of four.
Room service was reasonably priced and we had breakfast served at our lanai overlooking the ocean in the morning. I used the fitness facility which was well equipped with water, power drinks, and cool refrigerated face towels. My daughter took tennis lessons which I believe were adequately priced. The tennis lessons were taught at the rooftop tennis courts next to the fitness center. In addition, tennis rackets could be rented for a nominal fee if one is just looking to play on the courts.
As for the hotel dining, we ate at Mina's Fish House which we found delightfully nestled facing the front of the lagoon. They offer the fresh catch of the day and a member of the staff actually walks around each table showing off the type of fish the chef plans to prepare. In addition, it's great to go for a Happy Hour. We also often went to Hokulea, conveniently located in the lobby, to get afternoon snacks and drinks.
There are three other lagoons which one can visit aside from the one in front of Four Seasons; each was a walking distance away from each other. In the evening, we strolled across the street to a small strip mall, consisting of several stores and restaurants. It was a great place to get ice cream and coffee.
Overall, our stay at the Four Seasons was a memorable one. It had been a decade since our stay at a Four Seasons Resort. Our children were quite small at that time but they will never forget how well they were treated. Ten years later, my kids are all grown up and Four Seasons is still giving them welcome gifts that make them feel so special and providing a lifetime of memorable experiences. Special thanks to Sean and Francis for always catering to our every need. Mahalo and Aloha!

We had a 4 night stay with our two children aged 11 and 14 and I am SO glad that I did my research on Trip Advisor and stayed here instead of at the neighboring Aulani. We are frequent high end travelers to beautique resorts and felt the Four Seasons was up at the top of our list with regard to service and comfort. We rented two adjoining rooms and loved the set up for our family (although we wished we could have secured a king and two double beds instead got 2 kings). The beds were very comfortable (pull out couch a bit less so) and the bathrooms were great. Housekeeping and overall service at the hotel impeccable. The lagoon and "secret" beach were a lot of fun for the kids. Poolside and beachside service were amazing - the second you get out there they are setting up chairs for you and bringing you water. The food on property at every restaurant including the pool bar was outstanding. We enjoyed two wonderful meals at Mina's Fish House and one at Noe, plus loved the breaksfast buffet. We will be back.

We LOVED our stay here. The pool and beach are beautiful and the service is outstanding. We received a warm welcome with lei's. We had our 18 month old son with us and the room was equipped with a crib, diaper genie, bath products for him and they gave him complimentary stuffed animals.
The room was a really nice size and we also liked the size of the patio since it came with a big dining table. We were able to eat many meals there. The bathroom also had two sinks and a nice size bathtub and shower. It was convenient to bath our son in the tub.
They also acknowledged that we were celebrating our babymoon for baby #2 and gave us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries.
We enjoyed the beach a lot and we got complimentary lounge chairs, towels and water. The staff sets everything up for you including the umbrella which is super convenient. One morning we had the kiddie pool to ourselves which has a nice view of the beach. The kiddie pool has a section that's only about two feet deep which is perfect for toddlers.
Each morning we walked to the convenience store across the street to pick up breakfast and lunch to eat on our patio. It is part of a cute strip mall with restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops.
Housekeeping came once in the morning and once at night and their meticulousness exceeded expectations. We were provided complimentary bottled water daily and we received amazing cookies. They were also good about coming when we were out of the room so it did not interfere with our son's nap time.
My only complaint is that they placed us near the banquet hall so we heard bad music playing loudly late into the night and super loud fireworks that sounded like bombs when our young toddler was trying to sleep. Luckily he didn't get awaken by all the noise even though I did since the building is not entirely sound proof.
I still highly recommend this place if you want to treat yourself to something lavish or celebrating something. It was hard to leave and I'd definitely like to come back someday.

In July 2020, my wife and I were talking with close friends who decided to book a Hawaii vacation to celebrate New Years 2021. With a full understanding of the risk of travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to take a chance and book the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina for the holiday season.
I began our process in late July 2020 by calling the resort and confirming there was nothing beyond the obvious I should be worried about. The agent indicated they were closing for a brief time due to the government shutdown, but once they opened, there should be no concern, assuming there were no additional state-wide shutdowns or other force majeure events. She did remind me that the room was nonrefundable, which I acknowledged and understood.
We live outside Philadelphia, PA, so the trip to Hawaii was not short (or cheap). Once we spoke with the Four Seasons agent we promptly booked our room and our flight.
In October 2020 I reached out to the Four Seasons to request some information about the travel restrictions and on-site health initiatives. A few days later I received an email indicating they decided they were going to perform some improvements to the hotel and are no longer accommodating our reservation, but I can try back in March 2021.
My wife and I were shocked: less than two months until our New Years trip the hotel decided to cancel our accommodations to perform renovations at their hotel at their own discretion and cancel existing reservations. Our friends, who we are traveling with and hoped to be close to, had coordinated rooms at the adjacent Disney Aulani resort. I asked what Four Seasons is recommended I do, as there were no nearby hotels available, and all other hotels on the island had inflated rates this close to travel.
The Four Seasons agent suggested I try and book the Four Seasons Maui (different island) and wished me luck. Then she stopped responding.
I have been a customer of the Four Seasons in a number of other locations throughout the world, and have never experienced such horrendous customer service. I cannot, and will not, trust this flag again.

This was our first time staying in Ko’Olina and we absolutely loved the Four Seasons Hotel! The lagoon beach was perfect for our 5 year old to swim all day as the tide never gets high. From beginning to end the hotel provided excellent service and all the amenities were perfect for our family. The beach attendants set up your chairs and towels and constantly check on you making sure you’re comfortable and have everything you’ll need. The room was and view were amazing. We had the 1 bedroom suite overlooking the ocean. We were able to see the sunset every night.
Food: Mina’s Fish House was incredible. The miso black cod was our favorite and the kids menu was great with ice cream sandwiches included. Room service was good and convenient in the early am. We also walked over to the Island Market for snacks and Island Vintage Coffee for coffee.
Location: The hotels located about 35 min from HNL so it’s a nice drive north to Ko’Olina. We specifically chose this location to be away from all the crowds in Waikiki and it was definitely worth it. The beach wasn’t crowded and everyone was spaced out so it felt safer than being in crowded areas both indoors and outdoors. The lagoon beach is absolutely amazing, providing a calm area for young kids to swim and explore the nearby rocks and tide pools. We spent each and everyday at the beach and never got tired of it.
Service: From arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The Four Seasons app was great to use as any request was promptly attended to. Valet was excellent, always greeting us and making sure we were comfortable with waters and/or towels. Check-in was smooth and seamless with hotel wrist bands checking each guest. The hotel staff was friendly and really genuinely kind.
We’ve decided to go back for Thanksgiving as we had the best time! Will definitely recommend the Four Seasons Ko’Olina for any family vacation!

I stayed 4 nights at the resort and had an amazing time. The scenery is just beautiful. We paid extra for a prime corner oceanfront room. This was on a higher floor (9th). I don’t know that the corner room was worth the extra $100 per night but definitely recommend an ocean view! We did have an extra deck but the roof/rail went up to upper chest level so the view was not *quite* as good for that reason, as compared to a waist level railing. But I was very happy with the room, the view, the service, the food. We loved relaxing at the beach. The staff put covers on the beach chairs and we had beach food and beverage service that was available but never pushy. Complimentary paddle board and snorkel rentals. The water in October was VERY pleasant. We loved heading to the adult pool at sunset for an amazing view and a drink from Dr Mai Tai. I would absolutely recommend and hope to visit again some day b
