Menehune Shores condo unit 121 is fabulous! You can walk right out the lanai to two different type beaches, coral beach or a sandy beach. This ground level unit has the best view being on the coral beach side out of the hot sun side. Open the front door and the lanai slider to enjoy the cross breezes. Air conditioning not needed. Doors, screens, and windows lock for security. Each morning was a joy waking up to the birds chirping and the gorgeous views. Early morning walks (6am) on the beach with green turtles resting on the sandy beach. The owners and hosts are readily available to ensure your needs are met. We did not have need as the unit has a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of beach items such as beach chairs, beach mats, ice chests, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels. The bedrooms each have their own private bathroom ensuring privacy. Washer-dryer works great. This is a classy must stay unit!

We rented 209 from Deb the property manager who was great. The unit itself is a little dated and could use a new sofa and new beds. The furniture looks like it’s from the 80s. The location is so so compared to S. Kihei by Kamaole I and II where we stayed during the first week of the trip. There is nothing walkable nearby and the beaches next to Menehene Shores is 3/5 stars compared to the Kamaole beaches. If you are on a budget and want oceanfront views then this is a good option.

My husband and I absolutely love Menehune shores. We have stayed many times and love it so much that we ended up buying a condo there! Now we get to come several times a year, and it's our heaven. The location is perfect, only 15 minutes from the airport, and very central to all of the activities throughout Maui. I love the fish pond beach in front because it protects from waves and is super sandy, perfect and safe for swimming and snorkeling. The Indian restaurant on the first floor is delicious too, and the sunset views are to die for. I highly recommend!

We booked room 419. When we arrived there was loud hammering due to construction next door. We requested a room change. They of course only had two other rooms available, both not comparable. One didn’t have AC and the other slept less people (which meant we had to share beds). We opted for AC and were moved to room 123. The view was not as good in both rooms offered and both rooms were pretty dated. This was disappointing. The property manager was apologetic, but made sure to tell us we were the only ones to complain about construction.
We noticed a horrible smell coming from the refrigerator (Rotten fish) of room 123 and the drain (old) had a nasty smell coming up but from dishwasher and sink (old drain/rotten food). I suspect the room hadn’t been rented in awhile so the old pipes had time sit/get smelly. When letting the property manager know this, he literally asked us to leave. No offer to fix it! He said it was “one of the best rooms” he had and he had the “best house cleaners”. Then went on to tell me that he knew the owner and that “they are rich” so we couldn’t possibly have an issue. Again asking us to leave. I’m not sure how the owners being “rich” had anything to do with how well the property is cleaned. The pictures speak for themselves of the unit. He refused to come see issues, but eventually agreed to send the house cleaner by the next day. I have to say that I have never experienced such a condescending property manager with such a lack in people skills.

This is a great complex. Very convenient, well cared for. We stayed in condo 121. Ground floor conveniently near the beach. You can tell the owners care, as well as property managers. They responded in minutes to a minor issue we had. Completely resolved and taken care of. This unit lacked nothing for the kitchen, towels, beach gear. Great new bathrooms and remodeled kitchen. This complex very conveniently located to nearby restaurants, beaches and the great city of Kehei. Enjoy the sunsets from your lanai.

We have stayed at this property 5 times and have enjoyed each visit. The condos are very well appointed, the ground are nicely maintained and the views are beautiful. The property has rooftop grills and seating which allows for wonderful sunsets.

Starting with the positive....the location is great and the ocean view is spectacular. The condo unit 118 is very old and in need of maintenance and a thorough cleaning. . electrical outlets in the main bathroom don't work . when using the stove, experienced electric shocks. This was repaired after 3 days. . holes in the bathroom wall (appears there may have been shelves that were removed) . blinds in the front room were dirty and didn't have cords .carpet in the patio torn .stains on the living room curtains

You must first understand that multiple different people own/rent units out of this property, so some units are bad and others are great. Ours was one of the bad ones - only one a/c that only cools the living room, poor customer service, and several maintenance issues. Would not recommend this unit, but our friends had unit 427 and it was upgraded and much nicer with 3 a/c units, etc.

This was a wonderful unit at Menehune Shores where all face the ocean. We were on the second floor with a private lanai. Nicely maintained with a pool and other amenities plus a secluded beach and fish preserve. Alli Resorts were easy to work with and very accommodating. I highly recommend them and this property.

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom units in this large condo complex. The unit was small but had magnificent views of the ocean and Pool. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Gorgeous sunsets on the beach. Protected swim area in front of condo. Delicious Indian restaurant on site.

We stayed in 309, it was spotless and we rented direct with the owners who were very hands on. Answered every single question we asked, before, and during our stay, and when we arrived home. I had thanked them for our wonderful stay and also reported to them that the toaster was sticking and burning. They were very thankful, as who would know that it didn't work well, until the owners had their stay at their own condo. It had ice cube trays and we dumped them and put in fresh water., just what we do everytime.
Talking to many vacationers and the best and updated condo's are renting from Owners only., others need updating and more cleaning. Too bad as this gives Menehune bad reviews.
There are more places to choose from in the Kihei area.
