Hotel's Favourite
We recently stayed at Hotel Villa Sirena on the island of Ischia, and our experience was nothing short of fantastic. We booked our stay based on TripAdvisor reviews and photos, not knowing much about the hotel or the island itself. We went in with high hopes and were absolutely delighted by our experience.

From the moment we arrived, the husband and wife owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warm hospitality and genuine care for their guests truly stood out. They took care of every detail, making us feel completely at home.

While Hotel Villa Sirena may not be the fanciest place on the island, it more than makes up for it with its charm, plentiful food, and the friendliest staff you could ever hope to meet. The meals were delicious and abundant, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

We were so impressed with our stay that we are already planning to return next year. If you’re looking for a place with exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Hotel Villa Sirena. Highly recommended!

We were able to visit during the second weekend Alberto and Arnoldo opened up the hotel after COVID-19 shutdown here in Italy. We could not wait to get back and stay at the hotel and visit the Monte family. This is our destination when we visit Ischia. The hotel room is excellent and the service is #1. We were so happy to go to Negombo Thermal Park was open, which is only about 10 minutes away - Arnoldo will take you. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding, always fresh from their garden or the seafood from the local fishermen. Don't forget to ask for a 50 minute massage from Monica. She is fantastic. Also, the lady that cleans the rooms is wonderful, and their sister Luisa, maintains the gardening around the hotel and especially has a wonderful garden on the top deck on the roof of the hotel that has a jaccuzzi and a beautiful view of the sunset and town of Lacco Ameno. The hotel is on a sloping hill on Mount Epomeo overlooking the quaint fishing village of Lacco Ameno. This was the first settlement of Greeks in 800 BC in Italy. It was called Pithecusa and there is a wonderful Museum in the town. Arnoldo can take you there, to Cassamiccola, or Ischia town for shopping. The hotel has a thermal pool below the 1st floor and is on the water is absolutely pure mineral from a spring that is one of the top 10 springs in Europe. We will return again and again for as long as we can. Thanks

This hotel deserves a special star rating all of its own. Alberto, Arnoldo, Donatello, Luisa and every member of staff are truly special and show an unparalleled level of service. This was our third visit to Ischia but our second stay here. Once you’ve stayed at this hotel nowhere else compares. From the moment you arrive nothing is too much trouble. It isn’t a “5 star hotel” where staff are nice to you because they are getting paid to do so. These are genuinely lovely people who are proud of what they do and so they should be, they are amazing. The rooms are modern and fresh with a typically Italian feel and are spotlessly clean. Breakfast is plentiful omelette or eggs with ham. Fresh fruit, cereal, cakes, fruit juice, teas and coffee. Every night the 5 course Evening meal is a gastronomic delight. The chefs are incredible. The spa area is really nice and a massage from Monica is not to be missed after a hard day sunbathing and visiting the sights on the island. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so pleasurable. See you soon. Karen and Mark x

Truly a gem on the island. From the moment you step into the Hotel, you will feel the hospitality. Arnaldo and Alberto are very accommodating and attentive to their guests. It is very evident that they love what they do to please their guests.
Food was amazing and a gastronomic galore. They would even send you fruits to take when you go explore the island. You will feel like part of their family.
Massages and other wellness therapy are available upon request within the property at a reasonable price. They also have a thermal pool next to the spa center. Monica, does a great job in easing the aches away after a long day of gallivanting around the island.
Hospitality at its BEST!!!!!!!

Four years ago, I discovered the island of Ischia when the hotel I wanted in Positano was unavailable for my dates. I came across Hotel Villa Sirena in my search for a place to stay and decided to book a room, enticed by the good reviews it had. I can honestly say that was the best decision I've ever made because not only did the hotel live up to my expectations, but I also met the Monti family who showed us what true hospitality means. This October, after Italy once again opened its doors to visitors from the US, I came back to Villa Sirena with my husband and 5 friends in tow. We loved our stay! Everything was perfection, just as it was 4 years ago. The Monti's pride for their hotel shows in the way the property is maintained (there is no cleaner hotel anywhere) and the special treatment every guest receives from the free shuttles to town, arranging our tours and the super delectable breakfasts and dinners served daily. If you are looking for a truly relaxing vacation, come to Villa Sirena and let all your stresses flow away! Thank you Alberto, Donatella, Arnaldo, Luisa and Antonio for all you do. I will miss all of you but I'll see you again next summer!

We had a most memorable and rejuvenating week at Villa Sirena. Prior to the trip communication with Donatella was prompt, polite and helpful. Alberto and his team were top notch, providing 5 star service in the most friendly, attentive yet professional manner. Our every need was catered for, we didn’t need to ask for anything as Alberto had it covered from airport transfers to detailed suggestions for our trips around the island. The service was provided with genuine kindness and generosity. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and our room, with sea view, was beautifully presented in a typically Italian style with robes and slippers for the pool, spa and sun terrace. We made good use of these areas either by using the thermal spa to set us up for the day or by relaxing on the terrace and dipping into the jacuzzi on our return from exploring the island. The meals were outstanding. Buffet breakfasts were delicious, especially the homemade cakes and pastries. The evening meals were delightful, every course a mini masterpiece, served by Antonio and Mario who were brilliant. Ischia was beautiful; our highlights were Sant Angelo, Negombo Spa gardens and a short trip over to the Island of Procida. We loved our stay at Villa Sirena and we look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

#1 in attentive service! If you are the type with limited time in traveling, then this is the place for you. From the moment we reached out to the owner and concierge extraordinaire Alberto (via WhatsApp with their phone number on the website) till our departure and taxi service all the way back to the train station in Naples, Alberto’s got our back. No worries as he literally took care of EVERYTHING! No scary moments dodging uncertainties like taxi strikes, tours, meals and full spa service (they will arrange it all for you). We also enjoyed very much the spa downstairs complete with pool, hot/cold stone water walkabout treatment and steam room that came FREE when you stay at this hotel.
Yes, you do not get a ritzy hotel but a well managed family run ‘terme’ experience that Ischia is known for. The staff were also all so warm and friendly as were the fantastic breakfast spread and yummy home style dinner service. I am still dreaming of the local breakfast cakes! So bravo to Alberto and crew and definitely we will return to your lovely hotel someday.

We had a very pleasant week in hotel villa sirena. Alberto and Arnaldo are master in hospitality. They’re very friendly, it was always fun talking with them. They’re are helpful, we got a lot of tips and advice for navigating the island.
The hotel offers a free shuttle service from/to the port and from/to the beaches nearby ( yes, we did not pay any extras for the transfers !!!).
They also organize day trips to other places which gives you the opportunity to explore the island.
Talking about the hotel restaurant, we tried once to go out for dinner and once to eat at the hotel restaurant on the first 2 days…. We never missed another dinner at the hotel restaurant 😊

Staying here is very recommended, as soon as you step inside you do not have to stress about anything! From transfers, to eating, booking the sun bed or simply enjoying the best views... they take care of everything.

This is a gorgeous little hotel with views out to sea, lovely terraces to relax on, a cool jacuzzi on the roof terrace and warm thermal pool in the basement, spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds, and the most wonderful staff. The food is brilliant and for a fraction of what you pay elsewhere on Ischia. Very generous dinners with courses which just keep on coming. Breakfasts with delicious fruit from their own garden, cakes/breads and various marmalades - all homemade. They also have a spa with massages, mud wraps etc expertly delivered by Monica. The whole team goes out of their way to make you feel at home and relaxed. And they drop off and pick up at various beaches around the island, and arrange day trips, as well as collecting from the ports. Don’t hesitate to stay here. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

A small traditional hotel with the most helpful staff you could ever wish for .
Nothing was too much trouble .
Beautiful roof terrace with sea and mountain views with a lovely warm jacuzzi .
A buffet breakfast was available but as I don’t eat the traditional sweet cake style Italian breakfasts I had freshly made cheese omelettes or plates of delicious ham and tomato’s each morning with lovely fresh bread .
A four course dinner was available at a very reasonable price each evening with the added bonus of being able to decide on a daily basis if you wished to eat in or out so we did both .
The Ischian wine was very good too .
Villa Sirena was very popular with returning Italian holiday makers and all the guests were very friendly and helpful .
Alberto also made sure the transport from Naples airport and return was as easy as possible for us .
A lovely first stay and experience of Isola Ishcia - traditional and unspoilt .

Casamicciola Terme, Italy
Dear Maxime, I hope you had a good weekend. I'm happy to hear from you and respond to your emails whenever you need information. But I have no reservation in your name. maybe you booked through expedia ho booking? Our hotel is not present on these booking portals. The customer can book us only with email requests. maybe you've booked another hotel with the same name. In any case with us you can change the reservation whenever you want, I would be very happy to have you here with us and celebrate with you and organize a romantic dinner. Look closely at your booking we are in Casamicciola Terme always on the island of Ischia. perhaps you have booked in Sant Angelo at the Belvedere Sirena that you also call Hotel Villa SIrena but it does not have our famous source and does not have the same reviews as ours. I am at your complete disposal. I am happy to help you let me know. A warm greeting and see you soon ALberto I replied to your emails several times but there is an error in your email. please write me and write your address in the text of the email

Hi,you fly into Naples which is about 2.5 hours then cab to hydrofoil across the bay of Naples and then about 15 minutes to th e hotel. Alberto arranges all the cab and hydrofoil connections. If you take the early morning flight from uk you are in ischia for lunch! Well worth the travel, it is absolutely beautiful, we will definitely go back. Hope that helps, Jackie
