This is the best Courtyard Marriott we’ve stayed in and the best overall hotel experience in many years visiting Burlington. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and they create a great vibe n the lobby and, along with the excellent cleaning staff, keep everything running very smoothly. The hotel has a large, comfortable outdoor seating area with lots of grouped comfy seating and tables and some views of the lake for chilling anytime and where you can listen to evening live music coming from the sister Hotel Vermont nextdoor. One of the highlights of our weeklong stay was meeting Mike, the hotel’s outdoor activities guide who staffs an activities hut Friday-Sunday and knows everything about having outdoor fun in the area, from biking and beaches to hiking all over Vermont and much more. The Bleu restaurant offers excellent fine dining with sunset views over Lake Champlain. The location is totally convenient to downtown walking, shopping and dining, and just up the hill from the lakefront, making it perfectly situated just a little bit out of the bustle. There is plenty to do in the area for a week’s stay, even after many years of visiting. We will definitely stay here again!

I spent about a week here on a business trip. Bottom line up front, I would gladly stay here again. The hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance of great food, fun shopping, and walks along the waterfront. It probably is the best real estate in town.

There is a bar and a restaurant, both of which are enjoyable. There is on-site parking which is harder to come by in town, so that is also a bonus. The rooms are what I would call normal hotel rooms, but perhaps a bit larger. My room was a standard with a king, but it also included an L-shaped couch, and there was enough room left over to where I never felt cramped.

Again, to reiterate the point, I would stay here again. But, just some tips to make the stay more enjoyable for the next person. 1) There is 24/7 coffee available, but during non-breakfast hours the coffee is down the hall from the lobby, and not actually in the lobby. It's still kept fresh, but not as obvious. 2) The parking is handy, but everyone from my group had issues leaving the parking lot on the day we checked out. The front desk clerk told us there was a glitch in their system and the parking passes expire at midnight on your check out day. To me this seemed like it's an easy problem to fix, but we all had to get new passes to leave.

But these are minor, and not truly issues, just somethings to be aware of. My only hold up with staying again would be the cost, as a similar hotel room on the other side of town (less than 10 minutes away driving) would be 1/3 of the price. But if you stay here, you are a paying for the location which is magnificent. It is worth it in my opinion, but if you're travelling on a budget, you might want to drive into town,

We used Courtyard Burlington as our hub for the week as we tried to find as many cider brewers and farm-to-table restaurants that were open in the region during these challenging COVID days.
The location of the Courtyard was excellent for exploring the downtown neighborhoods of Burlington and had safe, garage parking for our rental car.
It’s a busy property as it’s used for hosting cycling tour groups and a bus tour group called “Road Scholar”.
The hotel’s two elevators were often full and, sometimes, took quite a while to come once hailed.
The neighboring property, Hotel Vermont, had an excellent open-air bar called Juniper which was open much more frequently than Courtyard’s Bleu bar was. Probably due to staffing with the hotel. Courtyard’s housekeeping service was optional (by request), too.
That being said, all public areas were quite clean and safety protocols were being followed by the majority of the guests in elevators and inside public corridors.

This hotel was in a great location next in front of the lake. Our view from the 8th floor was good. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast of lobster benedict. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We forgot a toothbrush and they provided one free of charge. The valet parking was a nice touch. Nice cold water available in the lobby. Gave us a wine opener when we came home late and wanted a glass in the room. Rooms well appointed and beds comfortable. The only minor complaint I might mention would be the decor is a little outdated in the rooms. Not in the lobby though.
Stack of umbrellas available by the lobby exit in case you are leaving to walk outside while its raining. They thought of everything. Would highly recommend.

Booked the hospitality suite for me and my wife. Called the hotel before talked to chef (for my wife gluten free) went to the hotel talked to the restaurant before ordering food and then ordered food and it was still not done right salmon was well well done and not made as asked. Now to the room (please see pics) was to pay 700-800 per night and windows were filthy, full of bugs The tp holder doesn’t work and the door for the bathroom was coming off parts ow the wall!!! So didn’t stay another night went somewhere else (sad to say not like Marriott) side note I have stayed 600-700 nights with Marriott
The balcony needed to be washed off bad!

My husband and I stayed for three days at this property. The room was very spacious, and we really appreciated the fact that daily housekeeping was offered upon request. The pool and hot tub were very nice, and the front desk was very helpful in terms of restaurant recommendations.

We live locally so this was a little getaway. I had asked for a room looking out on the courtyard but we were allocated a room on the north side. The young woman at the front desk made a change for us but the new room looked partially on the brick building next door. When I looked at the room map on the door I noticed there were very few rooms with two Queens..... the better located rooms on our floor were mostly one King. The standard rooms are dated, but the beds and bedding were nicely done. Furniture a bit tired. If you like good coffee in the morning, that little coffee maker does not cut it, good coffee is available downstairs in the lounge. Bathroom was very nice, lots of nice towels. Our TV had strange lights glowing, making it unwatchable and this was quickly taken care of when we complained, within the hour. Our arrival coincided with securing the elevators and this was very confusing until we got the hang of it! Just place your room key up to the pad, don't swipe and it will work. Breakfast was excellent, Bleu is an upscale restaurant. Dinner is a little pricey but this hotel is close to many other choices a short walk away. Bar and lounge area are very pleasant places to sit and relax. Overall it was a good experience, proximity to the lake and to Church Street mean you can park your car and walk everywhere. Front desk was courteous and helpful.

Our family of four (two children ages 9 and 7) went here for a three night getaway to visit the city and do some skiing. While the hotel rooms were not large, they were large enough for the four of us to have the room necessary to not feel like we were on top of each other. The kids enjoyed the pool and the work out room/gym was decent. Parking is a bit confusing as is finding the main entrance - you have to enter between the adjacent hotel and the Courtyard to the "back" of the building. There is a nice outdoor space including an outdoor fire (which is technically part of the hotel beside but we were able to use it anyway). A great location so that you can walk and enjoy downtown Burlington.

We are on a three week, Northeast road trip and being a Marriott Titanium Elite/2000+ nights member, I try to stay at Marriott properties at every stop.

This trip took us to four concepts including Autograph (great), Residence Inn(Great), Springhill Suites(Great) and Courtyard(Terrible) in multiple cities.

We checked out of this property today, paying over $400/night mid-week. Greeted by an inexperienced young male front desk agent who clearly lacked experience in anything associated with Marriott affinity members. After asking for ID and handing me my keys, I waited for the would you like welcome gift or points on the account. No mention so I asked. He proceeded to mumble through his mask that I had chosen the point option (did not) and that he could offer a $10/person food credit if desired. No mention or "Thank you for being a Titanium Elite member" and was not interested in my membership status.

What was most disturbing was the condition of the room. Black mold in the shower and torn wallpaper in the room (#502 - Avoid). Very disappointing for paying almost $1,500 for a three day stay.

Marriott would be served well to better train people they choose to interact with guests, especially management. I miss the good old days when Bill Marriott actually ran the company. At $400+/night for an extremely dirty hotel at least got you a smile.

An absolutely beautiful hotel with spectacular views of Lake Champlain and extremely comfortable beds and well laid out rooms. The lobby is gorgeous with a fantastic bar. The hotels excellent bartender (I think his name was Anthony) recommended a locally grown Vermont black tea and it was delicious.

The entire staff is extremely attentive and friendly even with minor details. My friends uncle forgot his toothbrush and they gladly provided one free of charge to him. I also had postcards to mail and the woman at the desk said she would happily do it for me via the hotel's outgoing mail.

The restaurant was also fantastic. We arrived a few minutes before they closed for breakfast and they gladly accommodated us. The food was absolutely amazing.

I even took advantage of the hotel gym which was far better than any iv'e seen in recent years. Its not something i usually do.

The only critique I have is the door to the bathroom didn't lock but given how overall amazing the hotel was it did not detract from the great experience.

I would gladly return to this wonderful hotel on my next trip to Vermont.
