Nestled near the famed Dollywood theme park, DreamMore Resort & Spa is celebrated for its welcoming atmosphere, complete with cozy touches and family-centric activities. While some travelers find the room costs, parking, and buffet prices steep, the added perks of park access and shuttle services are a highlight for many. Despite occasional concerns over room decor and pest control, the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations generally receive high marks. Guests commend the service staff for their friendliness and attentiveness, though some inconsistencies have been noted. The pool area and packed activity schedule are particularly popular amenities among visitors.

My family was thrilled to stay so close to Dollywood at the Dreammore resort. We were able to purchase park tickets and with that purchase each member of our party got 5 timesaver passes per visit. We also got free trolley rides back and forth to the park so we didn't need to move the car.

The new virtual assistant is a text based operation to get some of your basic necessities like towels but for some reason it didn't work for us. No biggie, I managed to contact the staff I needed by phone or in person.

We stayed in the reunion suite which was perfect for us and our grown daughter who loved the sleeper sofa and her own private bathroom. The room was exceptionally clean and we got free seeds to celebrate the food and flower festival.

All throughout the resort you can see pictures of Dolly along with a wall featuring her albums and a time capsule box of hers which won't be opened until her 100th birthday. They also have tables with checkboard sets. There's an indoor pool as well as an outdoor one and whirlpool. Every evening there is indoor entertainment and light refreshment. Outside is a firepit to roast s'mores on.

Make sure to check out the butterfly garden. It's beautiful! Also check out the special tour bus room used by Dolly years ago. That room can be booked as well subject to availabilty.

The staff went all out to fix any problems we had and made us feel right at home. There's only one gift shop called Pokeberry Lane but it does save you some time since they feature items you can buy in the park. Speaking of Dollywood they do provide free package delivery straight to your room!

Dining is in their Song and Hearth restaurant or in the adjacent lounge. Check out the tailgates from pickup trucks as seating in the back of the lounge. Need grab and go-Get pizza, ice cream and other fast food at the DM pantry.

The motif, the cleaniless, the staff made our visit so enjoyable. Am hoping to stay at their new resort to be open soon. I'm sure it will be just as good as this one. It's truly worth the price we paid.

We stayed for a long weekend getaway and had a great first stay at Dollywoods DreamMore Resort. It was such a pretty place and we loved the beds (sheets were not the best but the bed was super comfortable). Check-in was easy. Check-out was even easier, you just drop your room cards in a box on the way out! The pool was very small for the amount of children that were in it but it was good, water was cool. The hot tub was very nice.
My only complaint about this resort is the hot tub :/ The lifeguards come out from their stand at the pool area (which a lifeguard is much needed in there, lots of kids and the pool goes from 3’ to 5’ deep) outside to the hot tub area if they see ANY child remotely close to it and make sure the people in it are 16 and older (it was almost to the point of harassment - then if you say your child IS of age to be in it they don’t believe you). It was disappointing how the lifeguards approached and went about it, although I understand why.
Overall very good stay, we really liked it and have already booked to come back. We did not eat at the restaurant or use the spa. We also did not do the s’mores but it was a big hit and there was lots of people who participated, we will try next time (if it’s not so crowded)!

My husband and I wanted to get away for our 30th Wedding Anniversary so we splurged and booked a patio suite at the DreamMore Resort. We live in Northeast Tennessee and this was our 3rd time there. We were so happy that Dolly continues to open her businesses and serve the public even in the era of COVID19. While pricey for some, Dolly thinks of everything! Our immaculate room was equipped with comfortable beds, a separate area for children to sleep, 2 televisions, 2 sinks, refrigerator, shampoo and soap dispensers, iron and ironing board, full length mirror, coffee maker, hangers, and plenty of lighting. We decided to spend most of our time hanging out and enjoying the pools. Masks were required and there was meticulous attention to disinfecting deck chairs and the area in general. Unfortunately, the spa, playground, and exercise room were closed. Thank you Dolly for allowing us some time to relax while still keeping us safe!

I have took my family here 3 to 4 times every year since it was built. It is still nice however it is wearing down which can be expected now due to its age. However I believe the price should begin to reflect that if remodels are not done. When it was built it was really nice however the restaurant song and hearth was lacking, they quickly decided to turn it into a buffet and when that happened the food was awesome, busting with flavor and you can tell they were working hard at it. Well that was short lived because they quickly decided within about a year that appearance was still important but not taste. They dressed it up and threw the quality of food out the door. It went to flavorless can dump and heat up. It has progressively gotten worse over the last couple of years to were we just leave the resort to eat. It had been 4 month till this last trip we just took and they changed up the resturant again due to the covid and we decided to give it another try. We were a group of 7. 4 adults 3 children and price was 165.00 not counting tip, which I am okay with paying being at a resort but only if its edible. That have it set up now were they first bring you bread, little later they bring you salad and then they let you go up to area to pick out of what's up there and they put it on your plate for you. The bread is hard, I am fortunate that our kids usually love salad but this stuff they brought to the table was nasty and noone touched it. (Oh and if you think you just going up to get your food instead of waiting on the bread and salad just forget it because we was and our waitress just quickly sit us down and said you have to get your bread and salad first)🤨when you have 3 kids? So it took 15min for her to bring a small wooden bowl and set in the middle of table were noone touched the stuff. Finally took the kids up to get the food and of course they got chicken strip wich they love. All 3 took one bite and stopped eating them.(How do you screw up chicken strips?) As far as the rest everyone got their plates and brought back to table and noone went back up for second trip and their original plates still set on tables half full. Food was old, cold and absolutely tell it was dumped from can and barely heated for $165.00. As we walked out to go order the kids pizza we looked around and noone was eating their meals and the empty tables that still had plates on them still full of food. They need to get a handle on this place because it is slowly degrading into the ground. You can tell a few years back when the atmosphere and care changed in the place because when we first noticed I told my wife that they probably hired some new management firm to streamline and run things for them. Its a shame my kid love this place since she was 3 years old. They do have the Pantry to get pizza and snacks at and its food is still good! Just not a family sit down place.

We stayed at Dolly Partons, Dream More Hotel. It is first class all the way. All staff were wearing face mask and were very friendly. The room was great w overlooking the beautiful landscaped courtyard with a swimming pool, hot tub, several fire pits all surrounded by nice wooden chairs, nice tables and chairs around the pool and other areas, a kids pool and play ground. They have outside dinning available weather permitting. In the evenings you can seat around the fire and roast marshmallows and make smores.
There is also an inside pool with lifeguard. They also have a great restaurant called the Song and Hearth. Normally they have a large selection of food set up buffet style with several different items. But due to COVID they have reduced their buffet menu and switched to a cafeteria style service.
There is also a snack bar location for pastry, coffee, ice cream and other items. Due to COVID all of the elevators have small stands in them with tissues and a waste paper basket. The tissues are for use to press the buttons for the floor then disposal of in the waste paper can.
They also have sanitizer available in several locations.
Another bonus was all guests were provided with a certificate good for 35% off on all food in the restaurant and was able to be used several times during your stay. Definitely will return, this was our fourth stay.

This is a really nice family resort. It “feels” like a resort in that it is away from the traffic mess of Pigeon Forge and has peaceful mountain views and a laid back atmosphere. It could be compared to a Disney World mid tier resort on a smaller scale at a lower price (barely!). Pros include bunk bed rooms and family entertainment in the evenings (usually movies outside under a large tent). There are s’mores each evening for guests at no charge, unlike Disney. Also, Dollywood time saver passes are included for resort guests, temperature checks at the resort and trolleys to Dollywood and Splash Country mean less waiting to enter the parks and less waiting for major attractions at Dollywood. Other major pros are the level of service, cleanliness, friendly staff and self parking is free. Cons include food service - there is only one sit down restaurant and it is a modified buffet. Was ok to try once but it is expensive and too much food for families with young children. It also offers “lounge bites” at outside tables and you can also order at poolside. There is one counter service option and it gets very crowded for breakfast and the service is slow. I’d like to see a family friendly sit down restaurant incorporated into the resort. Also, while the pool and the whole “backyard “ is beautifully landscaped, the actual pool is small for the size of the resort. We also found the park shuttle service to be slow and unpredictable at peak times. I would like to see dedicated shuttles for each park during the morning and evening rush times.

Overall our family loved this place and we look forward to returning soon!

Me & my mom took my niece & nephew to Christmas in the Smokies at Dollywood over the weekend. We choose a package that included overnight accommodations at Dreammore Resort. I can’t gush enough about our visit. Location was amazing, complimentary shuttle service to & from park, children’s activities at the resort, excellent dining options for everyone in our party from 3 to mature adults, first class entertainment with on site piano player, best gift shop I’ve ever been into on a hotel property, beautiful holiday decor, amazing courtyard & pool areas indoor & out, friendly happy staffing, rooms were spotless as well as the rest of the property. I really could go on & on. I’ve traveled extensively & can be fussy at times I like well maintained comfortable properties. Dreammore went above & beyond in every way. The only thing I missed out on trying was the spa services but I’m sure it wouldn’t disappoint considering the level of detail, service, & care the rest of property has to offer. I can’t wait to return for a grown ups weekend with my husband.

We decided on a last minute trip to Dollywood after hearing from others about how covid safe it felt. I had never been to Pigeon Forge and did not realize the general feel of the area. We were extremely happy that we chose DreamMore because it was so peaceful compared to the rest of the area! We really liked the room setup- we had 2 rooms for our family of 5 and both rooms had a king bed and bunk beds. Our kids loved the bunk beds! Like any resort, the food was pricey. It was also very good and the cobbler was spectacular. The pools were great (both indoor and outdoor) and we were able to get a reservation for the indoor pool easily each day. The hot tub was not very hot but that was really the only disappointing part of the resort. We appreciated that there was a laundry room so we could wash everything (especially masks) before moving on to the next part of our trip. We also loved that there were s'mores every night and flavored water in the afternoon in the lobby and the ice cream parlor ice cream was terrific. Everyone was extremely nice.

Even with COVID-19 our stay was really good! The bell staff was very welcoming and the one woman there was very personable. They were constantly cleaning and masks are required. At the Park they cleaned the ride after every use, they maintained 6ft, mask was required and everywhere you went you got a squirt of of sanitizer. Very good experience, oh and the room was very clean! Just be mindful there will not be room service everyday. We stayed M-F and got service on Thursday. If there is a need before they are happy to accommodate.

Our first trip to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. We decided to stay at DreamMore resort for the free fast passes/extra hour and shuttle. Glad we did! It is quietly tucked behind Dollywood water park and a short 5 minute drive to the Pigeon Forge strip. They have thought of every detail at this resort and it is super clean. First, the family rooms w/ bunk beds were perfect for my teenagers and was very nicely laid out floor plan. Then they have full size soap/shampoo/conditioner pumps in the shower. Separate toilet area with door so two people can use bathroom with privacy. Complimentary bag delivery to our room from our car. Tons of kids activities including nightly s’mores. Nice large swimming pool area open until 11pm. We did have a small problem when eating at restaurant as service was slow it took 2.5 hours to eat a simple dinner of burgers and salad, but we chalked it up to the staff adjusting to newly implemented COVID precautions and ended up with beautiful fireworks display to make up for it (repeated every night). Everyone was super friendly!

We do sell alcohol on property at the Lounge, and you can order a drink with your meal at the Song & Hearth. You are also able to walk around the property with alcohol purchased at the resort. Please be advised that you will be required to present your ID with any purchase of alcohol at any location inside DreamMore.
Answer from Kathryn B
With the exception of alcohol, you may bring your own food and drinks into our pool areas as long as they are not in glass containers. Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed in public areas on property unless purchased at our venues. You may drink your own alcohol in the privacy of your room. Water coolers are not available at the resort, but you may bring your own.
