What an absolute wonderful last minute getaway to celebrate Our 30th Anniversary!!!!❤️The atmosphere and service were extraordinarily kind and accommodating. The Villa was very clean and offered an ocean view that made waking up to the breeze and sunrise captivating. We spent time at the beach only 200 yards away, the Poolside restaurant Jamaica Monz, on site Gators Sports Bar & it’s location is great & was near every local restaurant, shopping and golfing course you can think of! Our smiles only captured a small amounts of joy 🌴🌴😎😎 we had. Thinking about purchasing as retirement property and/or hosting retirement celebration 2020/2021 with friends and family 🎈🌴🌴🌴

We enjoyed returning here after our first visit 8 years ago! That is one of the things I found comforting —the familiarity and consistency of the resort.

We booked through the website and loved how we were able to book the exact accommodation we preferred. The photos of the unit were accurate. We loved the oceanfront view (unobstructed) in building “A”. The only annoyance was the smoke drifting over from our neighbor’s balcony. (Two sepárate nights; two separate families.)

Everything (fees, rules, etc.) is completely disclosed on the booking page - read through it carefully so you are not surprised. The beachfront pool is a nice break from the beach for the kids.

I was concerned about what would be open, and how the “distancing” would be overall, but I was pleased in both regards. This resort allows you the flexibility to be as immersed or as distanced as you are comfortable with. The beach is incredibly spacious, so there is ample room to spread out your chairs and towels, as well as plenty of room in the water. My kids still had space to play football on the beach.

Our unit had exactly what we needed, as well as a Keurig! and four beach chairs. The kitchen, too, was well-equipped. We loved the comfortable furniture on the balcony.

If you want a place that gives you a prime beachfront location, comfortable “beachy” accommodations (not necessarily modern, but isn’t that the charm?!), and the options to be as involved or distanced as you want, this is it!

This is a nice little property. Older, clean, close to the beach. We stayed in ocean villa C 218, could hear, but not see the ocean. Easy walk, like 2 minutes, just past a very nice ocean front pool. Beach was not too crowded. You could rent bikes on site though we brought our own to ride on the beach. Several tennis courts and they even had lessons. Would stay at this property again, maybe a different room though as there wasn't enough seating in the living room to seat 3 people.

We rented ARB4 in Admiral’s Row. It was disturbingly filthy including what looked like crusted bloody boogers on the wall. When I called the desk to address this, I was told by the night time manager that there was no housekeeping available until the next day. I asked if they could maybe send up a cleaning product, especially since it appeared to be a biohazard, but the manager was unwilling to come up herself or send any non housekeeping staff who it seems were only available in morning. This forced me to clean it myself with the only cleaner I had, hand soap else have to go to sleep next to boogers. I was told the next day by the day manager that I would get a refund of the cleaning fee…yes they charge a cleaning fee…even though they provide zero service during your stay and actually charge you if you need more towels. Not only that, you actually have to remove the trash at the end of your stay. I’m awaiting that credit now. This place charges resort prices for a unit you could easily match with a personal rental at half the cost. In addition to the filth (images to follow), the children’s beds are only the width of a pillow (luckily we didn’t travel with any kids), the bedroom was so small you can’t walk on both sides of the bed, (I have a bruised toe from trying to maneuver), the bed was hard and slanted from an obvious amount of wear on one side rather than the other. The kitchen features an apartment sized oven, which is fine, but then they’ve supplied bake wear that doesn’t even fit in it. The shower was also filthy and featured a shower head so low that anyone over about 5 feet tall cannot use without a backbend. I paid around $700 for 3 nights in a filthy uncomfortable unit and wish I had just stayed home. By the way, I’ve paid similar rates for units in Maui which were about 10 times nicer!

We really enjoyed our time in Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis resort. We saw Jaime’s condo listed on VRBO and we jumped on it! The condo was our most stress-free vacation in years. Jaime was very responsive to all questions and comments before and after we rented. The location is fantastic for a couple or a family. Kids will enjoy their bunk room while parents get to enjoy their quiet space. The condo is equipped with everything you might need. There are beach chairs, an umbrella (you can also rent one), a small cooler, lots of kids toys, and one small child’s life jacket. There is also a high chair and playpen/crib for the smallest travelers. The kitchen has everything including wine opener, storage containers and a Mr. Coffee brewer. Save room in your luggage because both bathrooms have nice hair dryers too. There is a grocery less than a mile away for your food supplies. Unlike other rentals we’ve had, here you are given some starter items like 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom, some paper towels, and 2 dish and laundry detergent capsules. I was quite impressed to see that and it allows you to jump right into your vacation!! Location location location! This one is perfect!! Your balcony has a ocean and sunrise view. Even when it’s windy and/or rainy, you can comfortably sit outside. As a bonus, pelicans fly right over your balcony several times a day! Your kids or the kid in you will love it! You are steps from the beach, a BBQ grill, and a pool. There are 3 umbrellas at the closest pool-it’s quite nice, especially if the beach is windy. For those with mobility issues, if you drive to the back side of the building, there is a ramp to the first floor and an elevator that will take you up to the second floor. Both showers have a hand rail for assistance. I highly recommend this condo for the luxury, comfort, and convenience!!

Found my villa on VRBO. All of the rooms are clean and fully equipped. Just pick how close you want to be to the ocean. Almost all rooms in A/B/C buildings have at least a view of the ocean and/or pool and are only minutes to the sand. Admirals Row have two bedrooms. Some of the Tennis Villas have two bedrooms and are an easy 5 or 10 minute walk to the beach. Great ocean front pool, beautiful and spacious beach, beach chair/umbrella rental or room to erect your own cabana (the beach is really huge and you won't be crowded)on site fitness room and bike rental. Close to everything. Pick up one of the Golf Magazines at the check in desk and pick a course or three. You can't find a bad course within 30 miles of this place. You will have a great round. I have played on HHI spring/summer/fall. Summer you have to get out early to beat the heat. I don't know about winter weather but all the rest of the year is great. Summer time they have organized activities for kids 15 and under. BBQ grills and picnic tables. Unlimited outdoor activities, shopping, dining, history. Every budget will cover something to do or do nothing but play on the beach.

My husband and I stayed at this resort from 2/7 to 2/10/22 via a rental on VRBO. Our accommodations were wonderful. The staff at this resort are very helpful and pleasant. The property is very clean. We liked the fact it's basically a gated community, you have to check with the security guard upon entrance each time. That was a nice touch. Plenty of parking available. While our room did not have a direct view of the ocean, it was only a short distance, and the walkway out to the ocean was very well maintained. We had an enjoyable experience.

The bedroom is this condo is the most depressing bedroom I have ever seen. So tiny you can barely get to the bed and the only "window" opens out to the hallway which is brightly lit and the curtains don't keep out the light. The furniture in the unit I got was as if Grandma decorated it in 1957. Musty, old-fashioned and it overlooked a parking lot. The "ocean view" could be seen only if you went onto the depressing balcony overlooking the parking lot. Zero cleaning service but they charge a $100 housekeeping fee along with a $25 "gate fee." Total ripoff! I'd be happier at a Motel 6/

Admirals Row Unit 142, Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort, is such a comfortable, clean and well equipped unit. This building is right next to the beach access, has a swimming pool, cookout areas, tennis (of course) and is secure with a 24 hour gate. The balcony was so pleasant and the inside furnishings were perfect for us. The location has several restaurants nearby or just a quick drive to Hudson’s or the Skull Creek area. Grocery stores are within 5 minutes. Our stay was quiet and relaxing, the perfect fit for our get away. We would love to return.

I have to say the location of this resort was perfect. Our room was great for our family of 3. It was a one bedroom that I rented through Air BnB. The bathroom was on the small side, but the rest of the amenities, pool, activities, restaurants and cleanliness made up for that one small inconvenience.
This entire resort is a beach vacation. The happy people working in every restaurant, at the beach, everywhere! We had the best time. The food was typical bar/quick food but always very tasty and fresh. Drinks were not overpriced and always delicious.
I spent countless hours researching restaurants on the island and making open table reservations all over town. We wound up canceling all of them because we stayed at the pool late or the beach and just would up eating chicken fingers and pizza for the week. Is that ideal ? Not exactly but we were so relaxed that the thought of dressing up and getting in the car just didn’t appeal to us. Our 4 year old made a ton of friends and everyone everywhere was smiling, happy and having fun. Just what we all needed after this last year and half of not being able to do much.
One thing to note- I feel many of the pictures of this resorts rooms are outdated on TA. Many of the rooms are owned by private people. So some people who don’t have a glorious review seemed to have stayed in a room that was less than stellar. My room was clean, updated and had everything you could need.
We also split the week and stayed at the Coral Sands which was in Coligny area.
In hindsight even though this room at HHI TR was half the size of that one, the location and the beach here blew that one away.

You can bring your own or rent them when you arrive. We do not stock beach chairs in the units. Both the lifeguard service and the bike rental company on site offer these.

Unfortunately they do not. They do have designated smoking areas just outside of each building.
